How old is Derek actually?

As far as I'm aware they never really say, but if 你 count back 6 years (assuming he was 16-17 when his house burned down) he'd be 22-23.

The common answer to this is around 20-21 years, It's the age I've found on other 粉丝 sites, though Derek's age is never really clearly presented.

However, if 你 look at the fact that Peter was burned in the 火, 消防 while Derek and his sister were not, which leads to the assumption either they were not 首页 或者 were old enough to have moved away. Since 狼人 also heal rapidly and can be reborn, there is a possibility of them living longer. If 你 consider the possibilities it is assumed that he could be within the range of 18-30 years old. Supposedly hs age will be revealed in the upcoming third season.

In season 1 episode 11 we see his drivers license and with some work 你 can see that his 日期 of birth looks to be 11-07-88.

i think he is 26 in the begining because stiles says when they first met Derek that his family burned to death about ten years 以前 and then later we find out that he was around 16 when his family died which kinda makes his age at the begining round 26 if 你 count back

I’d say Derek was 22 at the beginning of season 1. Peter says in season 3 that he hasn’t known Cora for 7 years so the 火, 消防 happened about that long 以前 and we’ve heard 6 years several times before that so the seven 年 anniversary must be close. The flashbacks 显示 it to look very cold so I’d say it was in the winter, late 2004-early 2005. This would also explain why Stiles 说 ‘like ten years ago’ because it wasn’t long after his mother’s death so he wouldn’t have been very attentive to other tragedies while he was grieving. It also states that he and his sister were at school but Cora wasn’t which could be accounted for 由 after school practice 或者 games. Laura was still in high school too and her being under 18 或者 just turned 18 would explain why they left town so quickly, so they wouldn’t be separated. That means Derek would have been at least 15, seeing as he was 15 with Paige but he was also 说 to be a sophomore meaning he would have been only months from 16, but no older that 17 since he had an older sister no older than 18. If Derek was born in November like his license says 或者 on 圣诞节 like Jeff Davis has been known to say, he’d have just turned 16 at the 日 of the fire, making him freshly 22 at the start of the show.
