YES! Damon's character changed sooo much during the show and he's so loving and caring towards Elena! This is why I love DELENA! I look back and remember when Stefan told those things about Damon to Elena on how he was a monster and to stay away from him...ugh, that just makes me sick to think that Stefan, the one who is supposed to be good, told her that and look how wrong he is! DELENA FORVER! ♥

@HaleyDewit, I know, right?! I mean, they think Stefan is the right choice or is "perfect" for Elena, but if people look back, look at how all of the times he hid the truth from Elena or sugar coated everything. And then she would always be like "Why didn't you tell me?!" and all that other stuff. Sure, Stefan might've did that because he thought it would protect her, but at least Damon comes out with the truth and doesn't hide anything from her (maybe one exception is when Damon didn't tell Elena where Stefan was because he was a ripper and Damon knew what Stefan was capabale of doing?? Would that be an exception??). And even though the truth might hurt, at least Damon isn't afraid to tell the truth to Elena.

You're so right. I was thinking the exact same thing and thought that was the scene that was going to seperate DE from SE (even though that's been done MANY times). In the end, Stefan could not beat the compulsion and gave in. Damon willingly chose not to drink her blood. Love it! :)

That amazed me!! When he looked at the blood tubing,and Elena said his name, it was completely FORGOTTEN. When he hears her call, nothing else exists for him. NEVER will his vampire nature overcome his love for her.
