Have 你 ever seen a cryptid? If so, what was your encounter like?

i saw a UFO. does that count? my family and i were in the car and we were going to the store. i was in the backseat and i turned around and looked out the back window. i saw this saucer thing in the sky moving diagonally but then i 迷失 track of it. it wasn't an airplane 或者 a helicopter.

I have never seen a cryptid that has not been proven to science, however I have seen a Komodo dragon which is still considered a cryptid even though it has been proven to science.

I had an encounter with a Thunderbird at an industrial site I was working at as a security guard on the night shift, The industrial site was near the Allegheny River, east of Pittsburgh. At approximately 1:00 a.m. in the morning on July 10, 2010 I seen would look like a small plane without sound flying about 100 feet in the air above one of the buildings I was watching. It glowed underneath from the light that reflected off its body. It had at least a twenty foot wingspan. As it was flying above me it screeched at me. I could not make out its head, but I did see its wings. I could not tell if it had feathers 或者 not. This encounter has made me want to study cryptozoology. I believe there are hidden creatures that are nocturnal and elusive to man. I am a believer!
