It sounds like he likes you, but he's too shy to 显示 it. 或者 he's just trying to avoid telling 你 that he doesn't feel the same...

I know it sounds harsh, the last part i mean, but, I'm an expert when it comes to guys trying not to act like they like you. Ergo, my best guy friend -_- xD But anyways, it sounds like he likes you, but remember, prepare yourself for the worst and you'll never be disappointed (:

Uh, it sounds like he might be interested in you. :) If he didn't like you, 或者 want to be around you, then why did he walk with 你 to lunch 或者 choose to be around 你 in health class? I would say, 下一个 time he walks with you, 或者 is around 你 at all, try to talk to him. Say "hi" and start up some small talk. Who knows? He could end up liking you. :}

And, to your last 问题 there, I don't think it's awkward for him. I mean, he's the one who chose to stand 下一个 to you, and walk with you, right? The only reason why it could've been awkward is that everything was all in silence. Try to talk to him a bit. :) Maybe he's around 你 like that because he wants to get to know you. :) And, yeah, I think he could like you. :) It sounds like he was trying to be playful with 你 there when 你 were going to put your markers back (playfulness = flirting! <3)
