5. The Secret of Nimh
I know this is considered one of his greats but I have a hard time loving this movie as much as the others on this list. It is a good film though; the acting, animation, action, music, characters, all of them are equally good and enjoyable. Some scenes are pretty intense though like the sword fight in the climax. I would not recommend 展示 this to small children unless 你 know they can handle it.
4. An American Tail
Like The Secret of Nimh, this is an intense film but is still enjoyable. Though this film doesn't have that many scary scenes, it's a very sad movie about a little 老鼠, 鼠标 just trying to be reunited with his family and misses them every freaking time. Not even kidding, this movie is just one big tease. Again, would not 显示 this to small children unless 你 know they can handle it because, honestly, the last time I watched this movie I was a kid and I was depressed for days.
3. Anastasia
This was one of the 电影院 that put the nail in Don Bluth's comapany's coffin. I can understand why people didn't like this movie, being based on an actual event while being incredibly inaccurate. This was still a fun movie to watch. The 动画片 is beautiful, the songs are all memorable and it's hard to resist 唱歌 along, the characters are all interesting and bring something to the movie, and Anya and Dimitri's relationship is funny and sweet (seriously, she can't remember her past but remembers him saving her!).
2. Thumbelina
This was not one of his best 电影院 but this was a movie I grew up watching and have a hard time disliking now. I like to make fun of some bits and pieces of this movie but I still have so much fun watching and I always feel so much nostalgia whenever I watch Thumbelina 或者 listen to any of the songs. I still cry a little when Thumbelina hears the news about Cornelius being "dead" and sobs, I still feel warm and fuzzy inside when Thumbelina and Cornelius sing Let Me Be Your Wings and when they're reunited in the end. It's a silly movie with some plot holes (seriously, why didn't the bird just fly her home?) but, again, it is impossible for me to hate this movie.

Like Secret of Nimh and American Tail, this is an intense and sad movie. But unlike those movies, this is one that a lot of little kids can watch with no problem. I remember when I was a toddler I would always be watching the Land Before Time 电影院 and because of this movie I was really into dinosaurs. But like American Tail, this is a movie that can make 你 feel sad for a few days. I'm one of those people who cries during the entire movie, starting with Littlefoot's mom passing away. There's still a lot of cute moments in it like when Littlefoot is born and when Ducky meets Spike. Even though there's 更多 sequels than necesarry I'd be lying if I side I didn't like almost most of them, including the one where Littlefoot finally meets his father for the first time.
