Here is the excerpt:

The epic fifth series of fantasy drama Merlin continues on BBC One this weekend and when Gwen is snatched from Camelot without warning, Merlin knows there can be only one person responsible: Morgana.

Arthur is determined to rescue his Queen – but it's not going to be easy, for she is locked in the Dark Tower, a place that haunts the dreams of men.

'The Dark Tower' airs at 8.05pm on Saturday 10 November on BBC One. To whet your appetite, here are ten teasing lines of dialogue from the episode...

I'm pretty bored today so thought I'd give this a whirl:

Really, who's surprised at this dialogue, especially the "too good enough now you're Queen" line? Morgana making Gwen do something demeading to remind her she was once a servant. No wonder Morgana couldn't keep the throne pass a week; she acts like a brat. Grow up, witch.

It goes to prove once again, that her main issue with Guinevere is hierarchy. I have always questioned the logic of some that saw them as friends. They never had a friendship. She was Morgana's doormat for blathering. Nothing more.

I know it's never discussed but is Morgana jealous of Gwen because Arthur chose Gwen over Morgana. In the beginning before she knew that Arthur was her brother, she seemed to have some feelings for him in season 1, then he made a comment to her about he has not find the right person to love in one of the episodes, the one Nimueh place a monster in the water system. She seems to hold so much anger and hatred towards Gwen, sometimes even more than Arthur. There is an episode in season 3 where Arthur could not keep his eyes off Gwen while she was serving them and the look on Morgana's face was of a woman who had been passed over and another had been chosen over her. I have always felt that she is jealous of Gwen and Arthur's love for each other, let's face it no one has truly loved Morgana, even Uther kept her a secret.

I don't think she's jealous directly that Arthur chose Gwen over her. I think you're more correct in that she's jealous of the love itself, that she sees Gwen, her servant, getting everything she wants, everything she feels she deserves. Love, respect, the throne.

No, Morgana's issue with Gwen isn't about Arthur, it's about classism. She didn't care about Gwen dating Arthur when she found out about it in 3x06. She was even smiling about it because she'd found something that she could use against him. She started trying to kill Arthur as soon as she found out that she was Uther's daughter and he was in the way of her getting the throne. Morguase seems to have been egging her on to turn against him in that regard. When she started trying to kill Arthur, she didn't really care about Gwen and didn't have it in for her. It wasn't until 3x10 when she had a prophecy about Gwen becoming Queen that she started trying to kill her. This is about a class issue which Morgana stans try to deny no matter how many times she refers to Gwen as that servant or throws a fit over a servant sitting on "her throne". She's salty because Gwen a servant, is Queen and is doing everything that she can to try and put her in her place. Her behaviour towards Gwen isn't something that just sprung up in season 3 which is why some of us have never seen them as being friends. She was doing shady stuff to Gwen even in S1 and S2 but Gwen/Morgana shippers/friendship stans like to ignore this and act like it didn't happen.
