This is an extremely rare edition of Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland, illustrated by the revered Japanese artist Kuniyoshi Kaneko, published in 1974 by Olivetti.

There are 13 black and white illustrations, and the stunning colour cover image is repeated on the inside.
The front and back inside covers are also lined with a large black and white illustration.

It's a beautifully put-together edition, 36 years old.
It was published as a celebratory gift edition, and as such very few copies ever made it to market.

This example is in excellent condition. There is no wear or folding to the pages, and the illustrations are immaculate as shown in the photographs.
The only wear is a slight fading to the vibrant pink of the fabric cover.
The book is approximately 40x30 cm.
