Part 9) Alice's POV

"Alice?" I heard Jasper ask. "Alice, what did 你 see?" I blinked and came out of my vision. "We're close," I answered, taking his hand and walking at human pace towards the house. "Really close," I breathed. We walked into a clearing and saw a huge white house. Outside of the house were Carlisle, Esme, and Rosalie. I'd seen that Emmett and Edward were out hunting and weren't going to be here. That was good; it meant that there was a smaller chance of us being attacked. As we got into the clearing, however, Jasper walked slightly in front of me, being protective, as always....

"You and Edward were perfect!" Jessica said.
I was talking to Jessica on the phone. It was a week after prom and I promised her we would talk -I called it gossiped- about how prom went and about the people there.

I opened the door slowly and leaned against the frame. Jasper was sprawled on the bed, his eyes closed and his arms resting lightly over them. I felt a sudden hit of nervousness, what if he didn’t like this?

He must have felt my change in emotion because he suddenly sat up to look at me. It took him a moment to realize I was there and then another for his eyes to widen as he took in my choice of clothing.
