Everything 你 说 is perfect and I agree with literally each and every word. I'm glad that 你 share my feelings about it, especially about Cho, Ginny and Luna as individual characters, becuase I always felt sort of in a constant minority because others seem to think that Cho is shallow and weak, Luna is weird and only cares about Nurgles and Ginny is strong, 《勇敢传说》 and perfect. She experienced the death of a person she clearly had feelings for and maybe even was in 爱情 with, but still she didn't surround herself with her sadness and anger, she didn't sit in her room for hours, she didn't yell at people 或者 insult them just because she was upset and broken (something that even Harry did from time to time. In fact, Cho dealt with Cedric's death in a much 更多 《勇敢传说》 and strong way then Harry). All she did was crying, but anyone would cry and she had a damn good reason to, so I don't get why she gets the blame for it. Other than that, she didn't do anything, she helped Harry, she was ready to fight 由 his side, she was ready to try and start a relationship with him even though it must have been hard for her to do it so fast after Cedric's death. She never blamed Harry for his death even though a person who was in such pain could do it. But Cho didn't. She understood that Harry was hurt too. 一年多以前

But they couldn't help each other, because they were both misereable at that point. As much as strong Cho could be, she just didn't have what it takes to handle Harry's issues, because his issues were too deep. Hermione genuinly sympathed him, but she could never understand him in that aspect. But Luna could and she understood him perfectly. And if we talk about strength Luna was definitelly the strongest one. She experienced death too, she went through insults and she was broken many times but she kept moving on and still found things that give life meaning and joy. And she could make Harry see those things too, even when all his hope was gone. That is exactly what he needed. 一年多以前

As for Ginny, she was never as strong as Cho 或者 Luna. Just because she didn't cry doesn't make her strong, she didn't have half as many problems at the age of 14-15 as Cho had, but still she reliesed her annoyance 由 bulling people. This is not 由 any means being strong. And she changed all her personality for the worse all because of a guy whom she only loved because he was a celebrity. This is not strong, this is extremely weak and shallow. Instead of sticking ot Ginny's evolation that she shows in book 5 由 moving on from her childish crush on Harry, JK Rowling had to turn Ginny into such an unlikeable person believing that it makes her perfect for Harry, but she became even less perfect for him than she was before that sudden personality change. 一年多以前

Agreed on all accounts! First and foremost, not every person, especially as young as Cho was in book 5, could deal with so much pain and pressure with dignity and yet she did. She didn't pity herself, she didn't 婊子, 子 at other people, she didn't insult other people because she washurt and missed Cedric (even Harry did that after Cedric's death), Cho put herself together and fought for what she thought was right. She didn't release her anger 由 bulling/insulting other people just because she could like Ginny in book 6. Cho was through so much 更多 than Ginny ever and yet she had a dignity to still treat people with respect and she tried her best to help Harry. But she couldn't and he couldn't help her either. They were too broken, a broken person couldn't help another broken person. Harry needed someone who would be able to handle him with his anger issues and other problems. Luna was the one who could do that. She didn't judge him but she didn't close her eyes on his rudeness either. Luna would challenge him, she would make him realize that anger is not an option, she could make him understand that there are people who 爱情 him and things worth fighting more. There was nothing forced about their connection, it was just simply there. Hermione couldn't get Harry on that level, sure she felt really bad for him, sure she loved him in a way and wanted to help him, but she never knew how, because she was about logic and Harry's issues were much 更多 deep. Only Luna could understand them. She was the strongest person out of the gang, IMO, she went through loss, she saw death, she experienced what it's like to be made fun of, she was through just as much as Harry, except that she found a way to hold on and she wanted to share it with Harry. It was like she was taking a half of his pain away. Few words from her were enough for saving Harry from himself and from giving up. Just few words. From no one other than Luna. All 你 说 is SO true! Especially I agree on your comparision of Cho and Ginny. I hate it that Cho was sold as a weaker character than Ginny just because she "dared" to cry because a boy she had genuin feelings for died a horrible death at the age of 17. Plus the pressure on her family from the Ministry. Any other person would hate the whole world and be all about self, but Cho coped somehow and helped Harry with the DA. they both were broken and had too much on theor shoulders and it just didn't work out. They both needed people who would know how to deal with them and their pain, being together only made them 更多 misereable. That's when Luna came into picture and it looked so logical for Harry to get together with her after his break up with Cho! Luna was everything he needed, she too experienced loss and pain, she knew how it is to be an outsider, but she dealt with it in a way that could help Harry see things differently. Luna could make him feel better, to cheer him up and bring his hope back without even trying. When it comes to Ginny, she could never do that. 一年多以前

Ginny was much weaker than Cho, just because she didn't cry, doesn't mean she is strong, she couldn't deal with her problems on her own and so she prefered to insult and abuse people as if it is a solution. This is not being strong, this is being incredibly weak. Weak people do it and Harry knew it. That's why it was so contrived for him to suddenly start admiring Ginny. He never admired those things when it came to Malfoy 或者 even his own father. Also Harry knew and acknowledged Luna's strength. He even 说 it himself in book 7 how strong she is and that she was stronger than people would think. When even Ron and Hermione didn't have faith in Luna making it after being kidnapped, Harry had. The 电影院 try to make it seem as if something could be there between HHr but it's wrong and not accurate. They just go for the most overused cliche. That the main heroine should be with the main hero. But it is not like that. They were The Trio and Harry loved bith Ron and Hermione equally, that's canon. ITA with everything 你 said. I also wanted Harry alone before Luna appeared in book 5. I thought that him ending up single would have fit his character well, because he recembled Sirius in a way and I thought that he is just not made for relationship because after everything he went through he was so broken, plus he had anger issues and not every girl could handle that. She just knew how to deal with him, what to say, how to make him better and she didn't even need to try 或者 change herself to understand Harry, she just did. And he just felt 安全 and comfortable with her. Even her funny lion hat gave Harry inspiration to win that match. Those small things pointed out at how good they were for each other and how Luna made Harry feel something no other girl did. and then when book 6 came we were introduced to new! changed & unlikeable Ginny who does everything that Harry hates in people and yet it is passed as being strong and independent and Harry suddenly starts liking her, because she is now hot and popular. It is the shallowest thing ever. And together with Ginny, Harry started being unlikeable too, because no way Harry in book 1-5 would have been ok with those things Ginny did and her insulting/abusing people. But when it came to Luna and Harry niether of them had to change. They just worked so well. And I know what 你 mean about Hermione I know many people didn't like Harry/Ginny, because they wanted Harry/Hermione to happen, but I never thought they were well suited and even if I wasn't a handcore Romione shipper, HHr still woulsn't have worked for me, because they didn't have that level of connection to work. Not the one Harry/Luna had, plus Harry and Hermione had years to start having feelings for each other but they didn't. However, one 年 was enough for Luna to become so close to Harry. 一年多以前

I agree with literally everything 你 说 and so glad to find someone who sees it the way I do. I know people either saw Harry/Ginny were meant to be and a perect match because Rowling 说 so 或者 they intensively hate Ginny and think that Hermione was better fir Harry. But I sort of don't belong to either of the groups. I never liked and never shipped Harry with Hermione, not just because I'm a Romione shipper, but because I think they were not good for each other at all and didn't have 发布 一年多以前

a romantic vibe, they were like siblings. And Ginny IMO was a great character before book 6 happened when her personality had to be magically changed into an annoying, bitchy Mary Sue with an in-your-face attitude and incredible rudeness let alone physical abuse tendencies towards other people. Which was sold as being independent and cool. But it was obviously not. And just the fact that she was changed like that due to fit into Harry just disturbes me, because all those qualities is basically everything that Harry always hated in people so why would he suddenly admire it and be intrigued 由 it when it's Ginny? With Luna nothing even had to be forced because it was just THERE. It was there in a natural, beautiful and magical way. A connection that just existed between two people. Luna saw past things that Ginny loved Harry for - Chosen one, a hero, a boy who lived. Harry wanted to hide away from it whereas those were the only things that Ginny liked him for and the only things she in fact knew about him. But Luna didn't even pay attention to them and she cared/liked REAL Harry. And she understood the real Harry. And maybe Harry was too messed up to think about something 更多 with Luna at that point, but them just sharing this connection and being 老友记 and having an open ending maybe would have been 1000 times 更多 logical and in character than Harry suddenly falling for Ginny, whom he had been ignoring completelly for 6 years, because she started bulling people and became popular. 一年多以前
