Well for one thing they are complete oppposites. Water and Fire. In the southern raiders i believe Zuko saved Katara from rocks and in Into thwe inferno Zuko jumped in front of Katara and saved her from being shot 由 Azulas lightning, They are so cute together and make a great couple.

i dont really know, but i ever read some 来源 that the creator originally pair Zuko and Katara as each 爱情 interest.
so when they change due to unknown circumstances, the "original destiny" is still remain a little. that's why Zutara is 更多 流行的 than the canon it self, Kataang.
btw, dont mean to insult .. but i dont like the pic up there... it doesnt looks like Katara
cuz they are CLEARLY meant 4 each other!! they're opposites, they're adorable,they were originally paired together, AND think of how much better the plot would have been!!
It's 更多 interesting. It's unpredictable, but if 你 think outside the box, 你 see it. They leave hints, but in Kataang's case... Aang just goes up and pecks Katara. 你 don't see passion, especially from Katara. It's just a little boy crush basically. Zutara is 更多 compassionate
