Why do people hate Yu-gi-oh zexal so much?

Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal is 4 304s. And the characters are both retarded and sound like nasal voiced freaks! F***** 你 to whoever like this s****

Now lets be real, i just watched again all season of YGO in japanese, i have to make my statement.
Yu-Gi-Oh classic with Yugi and co.
10/10! Why? Cause its amazing, it has this clearly dark touch on it, the milenium items, orichalcos, Bakura arc, etc. Just amazing!
Yu-Gi-Oh GX with Judei Yuki.
5/10! Why? Basicly, i feel like they are missing every point in this anime. I didnt like the Neo-heros but i was quite a 粉丝 of the elemental Heros and Cyberdragons. U can feel it that after a couple of episodes its starts to get boring. Most time it doesnt even make any sense at all.(Yubel-Saga for example.)
Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds with Yusei Fuudo.
9/10! Why? The 日本动漫 had like the first YGO that nice dark touch on it, mostly on japanese.( I always say never watch dub its the worst!) The character where chosen realy good and i didnt find anyone anoying at all. It had comedy, 心 moments, etc. The only point that i didnt like, why Yusei and Aki didnt came together haha.

3/10! Why? Now realy, nobody saw something there? Scouters tho! Is this Dragon ball 或者 am i missing something??? U can see preety much the characters are amazingly made, it had a real devolpment with graphics but whyyyyyyy destroy a XYZ 日本动漫 so much??? Characters are anoying asf. After 10 episodes i didnt even wanted to watch anymore, i still watched it till the end. Then the evolution of Yuma to that Super Saiyajin. For real now. Didnt anyone notice that this is a crap made about DragonBall, powerrangers and YGO? I mean i 爱情 DB but dont fusion it with YGO. The 3 points go for, design(wich i mean the world the effects the cards etc. But not the characters they were made quite ugly tbt) for of course XYZ, i 爱情 XYZ cards and for the voice actors, cause it fit quite well.

9/10! Why? Arc-V is amazingly build, it has something from all YGOs together. Huge potential, amazing graphic, pendelum is a new revoltution, backround 音乐 is fantastic also the OP. Dark touch, with Academia, this u dont know who is enemy 或者 foe, Yuto my favorite, voice actors are amazing. It has something for everyone, if u are a 粉丝 of Fusion, Tribute, XYZ, Synchro 或者 Pendelum. It has everything.
The 9 points only cause its still going on.

I think people hate it cause yugioh spin offs keep popping up and each one is worse than the last. I mean lets face it the original is the best, GX was cool, 5Ds was like okay, and Zexal is like why bother.
People including myself find it somewhat annoying that they keep trying to recreate the success of the original and failing miserably and therefore are doing 更多 bad to the franchise then good.

I honestly don't understand why people hate it so much. They don't even give it a try.
I personally 爱情 it; it's my 最喜爱的 series out of all of them. I like the comedy, and the fact that Yuma isn't like everyone else- a talented duelist. He has to actually try to be a good duelist. Plus, I think the 显示 has a good plot and a lot of really good characters.

it's a lot better than 5D's and slightly better than GX was. It really feels like a reboot of the original. As a result, I think it's great.

It's not cool as 前一个 Yu-Gi-Oh! series. I liked the original mostly. And Zexal is the worst especially because of characters and it's style.

Most of it is probably because of the fact that the english version of it completely butchers the original. Ryouga, er, i mean "Reginald" as one example sounds like a complete idiot, and (SPOILERS) he is one of the most powerful guys in the series due to him being a barian! And don't even get me started on Yuma's voice... Now in the original japanese version, they all sound pretty cool! Also, there may be alot of people that don't like Yuma because he's "annoying". Yep, an average person that actually has to work to get good at dueling instead of all of the other ones who start out as great duelists. I personally find Yuma 更多 relatable than the rest. With Yugi, as a kid 你 would always want to be just as good as Yugi, but it was just a goal 你 couldn't reach... now with Yuma, he started out horrible, but worked to become better, 展示 that with enough determination, 你 could become just as good! In fact, i think i learned 更多 about dueling from this series than any other of the series' to date, and not to brag, but i do play at an averagely ok level now! but yeah, if you're only watching the dub, then i can see why it would suck.

The reason is that Yuma is a crybaby dork ho doesn't have have the confidence like yugi 或者 yusei, the way he announces his moves, the 动画片 is to over the 最佳, 返回页首 and the cards are insane, they're too idiot proof, each card is easy to summon with easier ways popping removing any skill involved. He is clearly an aweful duelist and they really should have extend yugioh 5ds then create this trainwreck of a spinoff series

I really have no idea. It's fun, upbeat, and I like how Yuma isn't an all 星, 星级 duelist. Although acording to one *air quotes* devout Yu-Gi-Oh fan, it's because Yuma isn't "hot".

I dunno, Yuma not being like the other protagonists (especially Yusei, not to say I myself don't like him) is awesome. It's even very likely to become my 最喜爱的 Yu-Gi-Oh! series... There are also the small (or not so small) things like him mostly using Utopia and pretty much never any of the other numbers anymore, that could be A reason.

i suppose that the series just isnt my taste, iv watched a few episodes but so far im not impressed. i like the original way better.

It's really as simple opinion really, they prefer the Duel Monsters series Yu-Gi-Oh! the one with Yugi-boy and 老友记 and assuming it doesn't revolve around them and characters like Judai-kun GX and Yusei-kun in 5D's with new duel monsters and cards as well ..and I personally 爱情 ZEXAL.

I don't have anything against nor do i watch it a lot because i think the channel or. toonzai isn't on my tv and i don't think about watching is all, just doesn't come to mind.
if someone offered to 显示 me a 或者 some episodes i wouldn't mind, as long as I'm not busy 或者 somethin's going on.

I am probably one of the best yugioh duelists in the world... literally. i dont mean to brag but i do have the perfect strategy. lots of traps and spells to stop my opponents from attacking 或者 activating stuff. i also have all the god cards, synchros, fusions, xyz's. And 秒 best card in the game (after the creator of light) The wicked avatar. so i know what i am talking about and zexal is awesome! I also 爱情 the way they have made it a comedy.

粉丝 of yugioh hate so much because of 2 reasons:
1. It ripped off a whole bunch of the original Yugioh!
2. They may hate it because of how much it has developed.
I personally like it much then GX and the original. I'm not sure 5ds but I am happy that they're 表演 like friendship is an all powerful magic because it's not.

1. Too few dragons
2. Too few magicians
3. Too few fusions
4. Too few fusions of magicians and dragons
5. Too few kaiba, yugi references
6. Too few marik, bakura references
7. Toon world decks is still unplayable
8. Too many really wordy cards
9. Xyz is confusing
10. Synchro is confusing
11. Xyz and Synchro are not as cool as exodia nor goddamn blue eyes ultimate dragon
12. Older sets are not sold anymore, so its like whole new yugioh except not as cool due to lack of awesomesauce cards. DRAGONS, MAGIC IS AWESOME. Aliens are not awesome.
13. Did I mention fusions are awesome?

Simply put,people don't like Zexal because it's not the old yu-gi-oh.People don't like the changes they've made,they'd rather keep the original Yu-gi-Oh forever,than let it continue to grow and go through getting better through trial and error.

They believe this:if they make yu-gi-oh different,than they can't make it better.And if 你 keep it the -same,it's a rip-off of the best yu-gi-oh,and therefore,still sucks.In the end,people just hate it because it's not the first season.

Well, this series didn't get off to the best start, and parts do seem a little much. People who watched the first as it came out are attached, and anything too different is bad to them, but anything too similar is boring. It's a reason why some people hate newer PKMN gens, simply because they're not the original. But I do think that GX didn't have a great start, I was a lot less compelled to watch that one than any other in the series, which makes me wonder why most didn't bother with Zexal. Some hate Yuma, and some may have thought it too bright(it came after 5Ds). But I really loved it, Arc V probably takes the cake for me, but that doesn't mean I don't 爱情 the rest of the series.

I have seen all but Zexal. I loved the Original, I thought that GX was boring, and I didn't like 5D's at all. To be honest, I'm really reluctant to even try it. :\

Well,half of these 评论 I saw were literally things an idiot would say.I don't really see any reason to hate Zexal.Sure Yuma isn't a master duelist,but he does train to become one.Also whats wrong with the characters? Whats wrong with the style? Yes,nothing.Anyone who ACTUALLY WATCHED and FINISHED Zexal,truly knows if the series is good 或者 bad.Sure the series does have some flaws,but that doesn't mean its an awful show.Also if anyone's gonna say why Zexal is good 或者 bad,give valid reasons on why it is bad 或者 good.Don't just say stuff like 'This 显示 is bullshit! I disliked Zexal because Yugi wasn't ACTUALLY in it. He has always been my 最喜爱的 character, and I was extremely dissapointed that the adorablness was missing. Yuma is cute, but he is just not enough to replace yugi and the cute moments he had with all his 老友记 (and the pharaoh, puzzleshipping for life :)

1. The MC and other protagonists look so dumb and retarded
2. Unnecessary transformation and effects (seriously, turning into Super Saiyan/Gundam suit just so your hand can shine and hack the card?)
3. Too many plot holes and 未回答的 questions
4. IMO, Zexal tries to turn YGO into what it supposed to be...a children's card game, which is why the animations are mostly comical and disney-like. Which is, of course, a fail, since we all know YGO is too difficult for children to play properly, and the teen-adult actual 粉丝 of YGO are hardcores

The majority of people that hate the series don't hate the 显示 itself just the main character, no one liked how he acted so stubborn and occasionally idiotic. If they had used someone that acted 更多 like Yami yugi 或者 Yusei Fudo 或者 just a calmer main character the series would have made the series far 更多 successful.

Ok i admit its a bit funny lol. But its still has it bad side like if everything is virtual why do the ppl feel pain also why is it that they fall like they are fall from a 2 story building when ever losin life points? Another side is that i just recently hit episode 16 and the ninja dude is dueling when he has a fucking sword!!!!!! Im if u have hate that much and u r armed with a weapon wouldnt u use it to kill your target!!!

I don't understand why people don't like ZEXAL I mean it's funny has lots of adventure in it and it has a pretty good plot to it. Personally I think it's better than all the other yugioh series

Honestly, I don't hate this show. It's really awesome, and sort of unique in animation, and voices. However, I don't consider it apart of the Yu-Gi-Oh line...rather, I picture it as 更多 of a hive line from the show, while the 显示 and basis are relatively similar, they changed too much of it for it to be considered a true part of the franchise.

I think that is why most people dislike it...all the changes they made.

Because it killed the meaning of yu gi oh.The characters has weird hairstyles and weird voices and i guess it looks 更多 like some boring cartoon.

Well i 爱情 it i think its super nice colorful funny and fun series and thats awesome that 你 like it too and I'm sure some people also like it :)

I've watched it and it just doesn't feel as entertaining as GX and the original. I just don't find the characters very likable. Another thing I don't like it some of its fans, like the dude on here who was trolling people, saizer, just because they didn't like it and he did.

I think people don’t like it, because the main character, Yuma doesn’t really have skills as a duelist and always needs help from Astral and he has never won a duel without him. Yuma also doesn’t learn from his mistakes and is very hard headed. He doesn’t improve in skills at all and he has less character development than any other character. Yuma would actually be a nobody without Astral. And when I say that he refuses to learn from his battles. I mean he refuses. He mostly tells Astral to get 迷失 and that he doesn’t need him but he really does. I only really like this 显示 because of couples and how good looking the characters are but that’s it. He has no skills as a duelist. He doesn’t improve 由 himself and that’s it. He just isn’t good.
