I rubbed my ankle frantically and looked at my clock. 2:30 was glaring at me, and I knew that it couldn't be p.m. in this blackness. Just fifteen 更多 minutes, I told myself. Then 你 can leave. No regrets. Just... augh!
I bit my lip as a shock of pain traveled up my leg and through to the hand that grasped it. It was unexpected, some kind of a warning, I was sure. "Nabuu," I growled. Forget 15 minutes. I had to go now.
I raced around my room, grabbing essential items-food, water, laptop, spellbook, and of course, my iPod and charger. I left my phone, dropped them com link, and blocked telepathic communication with everyone. I didnt want them to find me-not until it was safe.
See, I owed Nabuu a favor. Back durning the fight with the Injustice League, he had seriously considered holding Kaldur with him. I talked him out of it, promising that I'd put the 头盔 on if he let Kaldur go.
What I didnt tell him is when.
And I had hoped he wouldn't have ever been used again. But apparently I was wrong. He now planned to take what I'd promised and use it against me, telling everyone the truth about what I'd hidden from them. But if I couldn't fight him, I'd play defense. I'd try to get away. And he couldnt dare threaten my family 或者 friends- they didnt know what happened and they were innocent. So I hoped to use as little magic as possible to hide and run, not to mention keep my family in the dark.
I should have known that it wasn't going to play out how I wanted it to.

From up in the air, the marks from the earlier fight had made a warning mark. It was Robin's symbol but a sword was “drawn” through the infamous “R”. Megan grabbed Becca in her arms, taking them down to the ground slowly.
“Megan! Let me go! I have to find him!”
The martian ignored the girl's please and held on tighter as Becca struggled to get free.
“What's wrong?” Artemis asked; if Becca needed to be held back it was a sure sign something was wrong. Almost everything was.

I found myself walking with Conner Kent, a sun glasses-wearing Dick Grayson, Megan M'Orz, Artemis Crock, Kalder and Wally West. I wasn't sure where we were going but I'm guessing I was on the team. I then discovered we were going to an Amusment Park...
