Megan floated between the five team members. She sat 交叉, 十字架 legged and her eyes were closed. Her mind was linked to all the others and was studying their vital signs.
Connor seemed fine, just unconscious and a little frustrated he had been taken down so easily.
Kaldur was peaceful, allowing whatever happened to run it's due course.
Wally was hectic, his 心 beating a little too fast for being at rest.
Robin seemed fine, inner turmoil over how Becca was doing. Expected.
Becca was pained, everything crying out to slow down and rest. She was fighting.
The pain they felt was making Megan cry. She wanted them to wake up, laugh, and pretend it wasn't real. She wanted them to stop “sleeping” and be a team again. She wanted nothing 更多 than to pull away, get the pain from her head and just leave. But they needed her. She couldn't leave. She wouldn't.
A sudden thought occurred to her and she almost 迷失 her concentration. If Young Justice had been taken out so easily, what happened to the Justice League? The thought of her uncle being in pain 或者 the same situation she was in made her 心 ache. Focus on the team Megan. They need 你 more.
Forcing her mind to matters at hand, Megan vowed to check up on the JLA when the others came back. She had a feeling she wasn't going to like what she found. Megan...stay...strong... Becca's voice appeared in her head and Megan wanted nothing 更多 than to cry. The voice was faint, growing fainter with every second. It was almost like the message said. Becca was dying. And those two weeks may be her last. And her worst.

“The teams?”
“Under control.”
“The girls?”
“Barely holding up.”
“And the others? Those ammatures?”
“Just as 你 described. Easy to spot. Taken care of.”
“What of the Light?”

The three moved quietly through the streets.
“Where is she?” Willow asked.
“You think I have a tracker on her?!” Artemis hissed.

“Hey! Who are we looking for?”
The two girls turned to look at Adam. He had joined in the hunt, telling them he would be no trouble and would do as told. He was clearly a follower.
“Cheshire,” Artemis explained.
“Oh. Why didn't 你 say so? I know where she is.”
