Chapter Five-
Artemis ducked into an alleyway at the site of the police. They probably would recognize her, even here in Germany.
After the car was gone, Artemis headed back towards the cafe where she and 冬青, 冬青树 were supposed to meet.
冬青, 冬青树 was waiting for her, sipping hot chocolate.
"What took you?" she asked as Artemis sat down.
"Cops." Artemis replied.
冬青, 冬青树 gave her a puzzling look.
"Long story." Artemis said.
冬青, 冬青树 nodded and took another sip of her beverage.
"So, 你 found anything yet?" 冬青, 冬青树 asked after a quiet moment.
"Nope, no sign nor trace of Luthor." Artemis said. "What about you?"
"Found the company LexCorp is making a deal with, but no sign of the man himself." 冬青, 冬青树 said.
"How hard can it be to find one of the most evil men in the world?"
"Dunno, I'm guessing pretty hard 由 our luck."
"We've been here two nights and a 日 already!"
"Don't forget, we've still got to nab him."
The two girls sat in silence for a few moments until Artemis spoke up.
"Do 你 hear something?" she asked.
"Police Sirens?" 冬青, 冬青树 replied.
At that moment, police motorbikes drove beside the cafe, two more, two more, then a black limousine. As the limousine passed by, Artemis got a quick glance at the license plate.
"L3X-LTHR" she read aloud.
The two girls looked at each other before dashing away from the growing crowd.

The third guy flew into the 墙 and fell to the ground, senseless.
"I'm not tellin' 你 nothin'." The fourth and final man said, arms crossed across his chest.
The caped figure grabbed the man and threw him into the wall. He dug the blade of his dagger into the man's neck.
"I'm getting angry. Do 你 know what happens when I get angry?"
The man shook his head.
"I. Get. Extreme." the masked vigilante said, digging the blade deeper into the man's neck with each word.
The man whimpered and looked around nervously.
"Okay, okay!" he said. "Reaper is working for some big company, that's all I know!"
"You sure?" Revenge asked.
"I'm sure!" the man whimpered. "The last transmission was recorded on the laptop over there! That's all I can give you! Honest! Please don't hurt me!"
"I'm not." Revenge said, dropping the man. The masked vigilante kicked him in the face, knocking him out cold.
Revenge typed something on the computer and scrolled down a bit. He clicked a few things and a disk popped out. Revenge picked it up and headed back to base.

Artemis reached into her arsenal.
"Blow the car 或者 kill him straight on?" Artemis asked.
"Straight on. Don't risk civvies." 冬青, 冬青树 said.
Artemis sorted through her arrows before pulling out one.
"This one dissolves thirty 秒 after being fired." she said. "No tracks leading to Green Arrow."
"Let's get this over with." 冬青, 冬青树 said.
Artemis pulled the strings back on her bow and let it fly. The bald business man tripped, falling down as the 《绿箭侠》 flew over him.
"Shit." Artemis 说 as civilians screamed and ran. Police pulled their weapons out and looked for the attacker.
"Now can we blow up the car?" Artemis asked.
"There!" a cop yelled. "Open Fire!"
"Yeah," 冬青, 冬青树 说 dryly. "Blow it up."
Artemis pulled out an 《绿箭侠》 and shot it, but Luthor was already running down an alley.
The car detonated, although 冬青, 冬青树 and Artemis were already running down the alley Luthor had fled into.
冬青, 冬青树 and Artemis slid on their masks. 冬青, 冬青树 buckled her utility 带, 皮带 as the girls rounded another corner.
"There!" Artemis yelled.
The archer fired arrows after the businessman, but missed.
"Damn!" she said, rounding another corner. "What's wrong with my aim?"
The two girls found Luthor looking at a brick wall.
"Your tyranny ends here, Luthor." Courage said.
"I don't know what 你 are talking about." the man said, turning around.
"That's not Luthor." Artemis said.
The man smirked. "No I certainly am not."
Courage heard the footsteps before she was hit with the crowbar.
She sailed through the air, landing against the wall. She looked up to see Artemis laying on the ground, a woman in a business suit standing over her with the crowbar.
"Good job, Mercy." a voice 说 from the shadows. "End her."
Courage unsheathed her gun and fired a few rounds at the woman.
The female dodged them with impossible moves.
"I remember now." she said, standing up. "You're that robot Aqualad mentioned."
Mercy's arm opened up revealing a gun.
"Although he didn't mention that." Courage said.
Mercy fired. Courage jumped behind a garbage can.
The weapon continued to 火, 消防 until Courage heard a resounding WHACK! She looked cautiously around the corner to see Artemis with a crowbar, standing above the downed robot.
"Come out Luthor!" Courage yelled.
"Why let 你 have all the fun?" Luthor asked.
Several 更多 (regular looking) robots dropped down in front of the two girls.
Before either of the two could say something, the robots detonated, sending Courage into one 墙 and Artemis into another.
Courage groaned. She looked at her shredded jacket. It had protected her body from the majority of the blast, but was ruined now. She took it off. She looked up in time to see Mercy hauling away an unconscious Artemis.
"No!" she cried. She tried to get up, but her legs gave out underneath her, causing her to drop to the ground and watch as her friend was dragged away.

Despite interventions of the Justice League & Young Justice, New York has been stranded from all help. Monsters are being formed from what we are told is 'Gamma Radiation'. But the main 问题 everyone is asking is not "How will we save those who have been affected" Rather the 问题 is: Where is New York's protector? Where is the Spiderman? And did he truly end the masked vigilante Red Revenge, now known as Samuel Grant?"

Artemis landed on the rooftop, bow drawn.
"Relax, it's me." Revenge said, emerging from the shadows.
Artemis cocked her head, but didn't let go of her bow 或者 arrow. "What do 你 want Revenge?"
"I've changed my mind." Revenge said. "I'll 加入 the Team on one condition."
"What condition?" Artemis asked.
"You listen to what I have to say."

"Master."
Cheshire bowed before Ra's Al Ghul.
"Your mission was a success?"
"Yes master." Cheshire handed her leader a disc which he inserted into a computer. "Holly's true loyalties were proven."
The screen behind Ra's Al Ghul lit up revealing a familiar face.
"And another of the "heroe's" identities belongs to...the Light."
