Artemis stared up at him as a blush painted her cheeks. But her usual smirk soon took the effect of that heat away.
“Good. I'm glad 你 told me. Because I 爱情 你 too.”
“This mean we're together?”
Artemis smiled at him.
“Yeah. It does.”
Wally smiled down at her and touched their foreheads together. He pecked her nose and then her lips before pulling away slightly.
“I knew it! Yes! I knew it! And I have the pictures to prove it!”
Both surprised teens turned to Artemis' door. Becca stood there, camera in hand.
“Becca!” Artemis screamed as both of them blushed
“Say cheese!”
Becca snapped another picture before running off. Artemis was hot on her heels. But Wally just walked towards them slowly. He had a feeling everyone else knew about them before Artemis and himself realized it. He laughed and shook his head as he heard Artemis and Becca arguing.
“Becca give me that camera!”
“No way Artemis! These pics are going online! Haha! Proof!”
“Becca! I'm warning you! Give me those pictures!”
“Not a chance sweetheart! 你 are never getting these pics! Score one for me!”
Wally laughed as he walked into the room. Artemis was trying to capture the little warrior, but Becca dodged her every swipe expertly. In all the commotion, the entire team had become intrigued as to what all the yelling was about. Wally figured this was a better time then any.
“Artemis, you're never going to catch her; Becca's a freakin acrobat!”
Artemis glared at the young girl perched on 最佳, 返回页首 of the T.V. Before turning to Wally. Her eyes gave him an answer to the unasked 问题 in his eyes. Wally smiled and looked at Becca, nodding. Becca grinned and leapt off her perch.
“Look at this! I swear these are perfect evidence!”
Becca handed the camera over to Robin and the others crowded around. Both Artemis and Wally stood close by, Artemis in the arms of her new boyfriend. Robin turned them first, a grin on his face.
“I was wondering when that would happen.”
Wally shrugged.
“It took awhile but it happened.”
“Oh my gosh! 你 guys are so cute!!!” Megan gushed. 你 could practically hear her inner fangirl screaming inside as she hugged Artemis.
Connor and Kaldur 说 nothing but both wore smiles of approval. Becca stood a little ways off, rocking on her heels.
'Are 你 mad I took pictures?” she asked.
“Yes! I can't believe 你 did that!”
Becca grinned devilishly at Artemis' comment.
“I could have waited for 你 two to make out before taking pictures. Just be glad I'm not posting them!”
Artemis shook her head but smiled anyway.
“You are such a horrible friend,” she teased.
“And you're the bossiest blonde,” Becca retorted. She wrapped her arms around her friend. “But I 爱情 你 anyway. You're the friend I never had.”
“And your the brat I get to boss around.”
Becca giggled as she pulled away. She turned to Wally, smile in place.
“And 你 are an idiot. But you're also the brother I never had.”
“And 你 are a very obnoxious little sister.”
Wally ruffled her hair but immediately pulled his hand away when Becca whacked him in the arm with her escrim stick.
“Watch it,” she warned.
They all moved to sit down before their training session, which 蝙蝠侠 had made even 更多 challenging. Wally smiled as he sat in a chair, Artemis on his lap. Connor and Megan sat on the couch, Kaldur 下一个 to them. Robin and Becca shared the other chair, their legs 魔发奇缘 together. Although they all sat together, they didn't talk. It was nice to just have everyone around. Wally looked around and his eyes landed on his best friend. Now that he was in a relationship (of three 分钟 ago), Wally could understand how Robin felt around Becca. He seemed happier when she was with him, seemed to make his world brighter when she walked in the room. But Robin also seemed 更多 distracted. When Becca wasn't there, Robin was probably 更多 focused on her than anything. Even as they sat in silence the pair seemed to have a silent conversation using only their eyes and expressions.
“Hey Becca?” Wally asked, cutting into their conversation and the quiet.
“Hmm?”
She looked at him, head cocked slightly in question.
“Why don't 你 加入 Young Justice again? You've been a big help and we would enjoy 你 being there on missions.”
“Honestly Wally, I can't think of one other thing that I'd rather...let me rephrase that. I would 爱情 to. 加入 Young Justice again, I mean. But that's Batman's call.”
“Well he can't say no,” Artemis said. “You're practically a member with how often 你 显示 up. And I'm sure if we all agree on it, he'll let 你 in.”
“Yeah. He can't rely deny 你 right?” Wally asked. “You're good; he knows that. And he also knows we hold 你 in highest regard. Besides, I bet we can make 你 a member without his approval.”
“Maybe so,” Becca started. “I just have a...a hunch 你 could say that something is going to happen. I want part of it, trust me I do. And if 你 can convince Daddy-Bat's to let his protege's girlfriend on the team, I would be in your debt...for a day.”
“We can do it,” Wally assured. “Besides, I don't think he'll say no; 你 make Robin really happy and we all thank 你 for that.”
Becca blushed and tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear.
“He makes me happy too. I thank 你 all for helping me find him. Especially 你 Wally. When I wanted to kill them 你 helped me. He's your teammate so I understand your loyalty as his friends. Which makes me feel safer if I don't get welcomed back.”
“No problem Becca. You'd do the same even if it wasn't Robin who'd been captured. You're used to doing things your own way. A few lives may have been 迷失 but 你 still 爱情 Robin. And we all know he loves you. That's why we trust you. With everything.”
Unbeknownst to the others, Connor and Megan had been communicating telepathically. There conversation had ranged in emotions but it was calm when they heard Wally's last 评论 about Becca. They shared one last look before Megan cleared her throat.
“Connor and I have something to say...”
