I looked at Kalder. He nodded. I didn’t even need to say anything to know he wanted me to stop the beast from screaming. I flew out of the bio ship, my mace in my hands. I screamed a battle cry and smashed the beast with my mace. I made my mace crackle with electricity. I smashed it again. I flew over to the park, grabbed the biggest rock I could manage and threw it into the creature’s mouth. It shot it’s paralyzing acid at me. I dodged. At one point, the acid was coming straight at my face, so I swung my mace and shot it back. Finally, I was out of breath. What was taking the team so long? The creature shot at me again. I didn’t have the energy to dodge it. I lifted my mace, ready to be paralyzed. The 秒 before the acid hit me, it splattered, like it hit an invisible wall. Megan was suddenly right beside me, bringing me down to the ground.
“What took 你 so long?” I demanded
“Not important. Good job in holding it off. We’ll take it from here” KF said, running off.
“Wait! Don’t hit it’s-“ I broke off at the sound of six screams. They obviously hit its back, where the acid pack was. I flew over and my fears were confirmed. I grabbed them, two at a time and flew them back to the bio ship. When the last two were in the ship, I flew back to the beast.
“HAAAA!” I cried my battle cry as I brought my mace down on the weak spot on its back. It turned and got ready to scream, but something flew into its mouth, and then exploded. It staggered backwards and I flew over and smashed it again. This time, all of its scaly skin fell off, revealing a teen age looking guy controlling the beast from within. I pulled him out and threw him onto some grass. A couple of the same things from earlier hit the frame of it, splattering creature goop all over me. I wiped it clear of my face and wings then looked for the person responsible. I saw a tallish looking guy running over the roofs. I flew up and into his path.
“Who are you?” I demanded. He just smiled and jumped over me. But not before I could snap a picture of him with my photographic memory. He was wearing a black suit with a blue bird on it. I’ll remember that for future references. I flew back down to the guy covered in beast goop and dragged him to the nearest prison. I flew to the bio ship, loaded everyone in, set a course then let it do the rest while I flew behind it, trying to get the goop off of me. When we got back, I un loaded the team and went to find Batman.
“Hey Bat’s. Can 你 find an antidote for the paralysis the beast used?” I asked
“Yeah, why?” he responded
“Because the team broke the acid pack and is now paralyzed” I explained
“Okay. What are 你 going to do, all 由 yourself?” he asked
“Take a shower” I said, walking to the nearest room.
