After the blood transfusion, I started practicing. I managed to learn a couple of basic spells and potions. I had even learned a metamorphosis potion so I could turn people into animals. I un-blocked my door and walked out. One of the new spells I leaned was a truth spell. Time to go find out if they really were planning my birthday. The truth spell only worked on weak willed people, so I’d have to use it on Wally because he has the weakest will. I walked into the lounge.
“Hey guys” I smiled “Guess what?!”
“What?” Robin asked
“I learned magic!” I exclaimed
“Really? Cool!” Megan exclaimed
“I can demonstrate some, if 你 wish” I said
“Okay!” Megan agreed
“I’ll need a volenteer with a weak will to magic. Wally?” I asked
“Fine” he grumbled, walking over to me
“Léo̱ alí̱theia” I spoke, putting my thumb on Wally’s forehead. “Were 你 planning my birthday party a couple hours ago?” I demanded
“Yeah” he replied, almost sounding confused. I snapped my fingers and he shook his head. I walked out, not even smiling from my gain. Once I was out of sight, I ran to the beach. I then ran to the forest and checked my calendar. One week till my birthday. One week to come up with a plan. I crossed my legs in an attempt to meditate. If only something would hold me down. THAT’S IT! I know how to stop myself from hurting anyone on my birthday. But it means I’ll have to leave for a bit. I just have to avoid anyone for the time being. Then the mission 钟, 贝尔 rang.
“I really don’t like 你 right now, Nemesis” I said. I walked in the mission room, standing away from the rest of the group.
“Where’s Batman?” I asked
“Right here” a voice 说 from behind me. I turned around to see 蝙蝠侠 coming out from the shadows. I looked at him 更多 closely and realized he looked different: his skin was paler, he was thinner and his voice was raspier. I looked at him in the reflection of KF’s goggles and realized that that ‘man’ was not Batman. It was Melinoe in disguise.
