From the 秒 story balcony, the view of the club was overwhelming. The crowd was a whirling mass. The flappers and their dates spun and slid and swung their bodies freely, many flirtatiously so as the medium of dancing allowed their souls to fly free.
"You don't like to dance?"
Alexie looked up and to his right where a potbellied, white haired man in an excellent suit and tie took a puff from his cigar. The young man straightened, taking a draw of his own cigarette before calling over the music, "I prefer the view...

He watched her leave, the slamming of the door told him she wasn't returning for awhile. A breath of exhaustion escaped the lips. He wanted to chase her, to grip her, shake her, slap her, 吻乐队（Kiss） her, hug her.

Mel laid in her bed, unable to sleep, because of the 天使 statue on the window sill. It gave her an eerie feeling, almost as if a demon was lurking in the angel's eyes. She pulled the 枕头 over her head, hoping it would go away. The phone beside her 床, 床上 began to rang. Only greeted 由 a dropped stomach, she curled up, gripping the pillow. She blocked out the noise, able to fall asleep.
