The man tapped his foot against the floor of the elevator, begging the floor numbers to change quicker. 2...3...4... He swept the long ebony locks from his face, then combed his fingers through and they settled back in place over his steel, worry-filled eyes. His nerves jumped and fizzed with anxiety, fear.
"Angel has been admitted to the hospital," was all the text from Declan had said. "Gotham urgent Care Center. Room 613. 6th floor."
Bentley leapt from the elevator before the doors were fully open and trotted down the hall, noting the numbeers as he passed them. 608... 609... 610... Left turn. 611... 612... 613. A trio of people were gathered in the doorway. A nurse in sky blue, a doctor in bleach white, a captain in military green. A soldier? Bentley felt his 心 throw itself against his ribcage, trying to break free of the panic building in his chest. The three turned as he approached, slowing his jog to a hesitant walk.
"Bentley," Declan stuck his head out into the corridor and waved him inside the room. The doctor and nurse seemed to barely notice him pass as they conferred over a clipboard, but he could feel the soldier's hazel eyes looking him over, as if the 22-year-old were a threat. As if the captain were sincerely loyal to the girl inside. But Bentley ignore the Hispanic and hurried to his lover.
Aryess was sitting up in the cot looking weary, but a smile lit up her face when the man walked to her side.
"What happened?" he immediately asked. "Are 你 okay? Are 你 hurt?"
"I'm fine, B," Aryess assured, taking his hand. She caught his steel-grey eyes roaming her figure, then back to her face, searching for injuries. "I just fainted."
"Fatigue, dehydration, over-heated, physically and mentally strain." The doctor and his nurse had entered without him noticing. "Fainted may be a light word for the way your body shut itself down, Ms. Weston. And of course-"
"Thank you, sir," the blonde cut him off. Bentley glanced back and forth, sensing there was something he was missing. "What's wrong?" he asked.
"Nothing, Bent. I'm fine," she repeated, then added with a wider grin, "We're fine."
"We?" Bentley glanced around the room and recognized the grinning faces around him. Emily and Jasper held hands where they sat in the chairs against the wall. Declan had taken a seat, where Riley now perched in his lap. Nic and Alek leaned against the wall. All wore equally excited expressions, even the 6-year-year old in his uncle's lap.
"We," Aryess confirmed, then squeezed her boyfriend's hand. "I'm pregnant. We're gonna have a baby." Tears of elation built up in her eyes as she spoke the news.
Bentley's mind went numb with the 《冰雪奇缘》 wave of shock that hit him. The cheers and laughs from the others were a background noise to the roar in his ears, even the handshake and congratulations the men gave him. The almost-painful grip of Declan's handshake pulled him from the haze.
"Aunt Ary's gonna be a mommy! Bentley's gonna be a daddy!" Riley exclaimed with a giggle, receiving a round of laughs in return. Bentley sat on the edge of the 床, 床上 and looked at the beaming blonde staring his way. Her smile faltered a moment. "You okay?"
"Am I okay?" A grin 分裂, 拆分 through the exasperation on his face. "Am I okay? What about you? Are you okay?" He leaned 前锋, 期待 and gently cupped his love's face. "You're gonna be a mom. You're gonna have a kid."
"We're gonna have a kid," she answered.
"We're gonna have a kid. I'm gonna be a dad," the man was pratically babbling with the 射线, 雷 of excitement that flooding through him. Aryess nodded her head over and over, halted only 由 the 吻乐队（Kiss） that met her lips. The kissed that sealed their 爱情 that was only the beginning.

Abilities/Powers: she has the ability to stop time for a moment in time, whether it be dodging an attack 或者 just to confuse her opponent. To others it may seem like she has super speed but she can 移动 at the speed of light when freezing the time.

This charrie goes 由 the name Jenson King. Overly-gelled black hair to match his green eyes, this kid could be a Greaser, I swear. When he gets angry, 或者 his body is put under a large amount of stress, he has the ability to retreat into the form of a black leopard. Even when in human form, his cat-like eyes and fangs give him night-vision, and an unusual taste for catnip. Jenson's past remains a secret, even to him. His earliest memory is waking up in the middle of the jungle at age twelve, only to be taken to civilization 由 tourists. He enjoyed old, classic streetfighting games, hence his Greaser appearance. At age sixteen, he traveled to America, and joined the team. Knowing 更多 Hindi than English, he often just sits in the rafters and watches everyone.
