A storm outside was brewing blowing through the trees, threatening to knock them down furiously. He sat on the floor flipping through a picture book, she smiled down at him as she looked back down at the words in her book. She jumped and gasped when a loud crash of thunder echoed through the house hearing a scream, she felt the bottom of the blanket she was under lift and pull down, she looked seeing the book sitting their on the floor and him not anywhere to be seen, she put down her book and lifted up the blanket seeing two big grey eyes staring up at her. “ Oh Bentley…..” she muttered lifting him up onto her lap as he hugged her tightly shaking in her arms, she stroked the back of his head with her hand whispering softly in his ear. “ Shh……you’re okay…..shhhhh……” she muttered to the five 年 old in her arms, he shook in her arms as she began to sing softly in his ear.

He let out a sigh staring up at her as he buried his cheek in his pillow, she pouted and leaned her forehead against his “ don’t be sad please…..? “ she muttered.
