“So, 你 got anything to drink?” I asked
“Cooler in the back” she nodded. I walked back and pulled out a Pepsi. I charged it. I walked to the door. I saw 蝙蝠侠 and Robin pursuing me.
“Bomb’s away!” I cried, dropping the Pepsi. It exploded mid-air, turning into a giant foamy cloud, covering our escape. Domino took the hint and flew as fast as the chopper went. It jerked forward, sending me stumbling out the door.
“Gambette!” Kurt cried. He teleported under me, but I moved him just before we hit ground. He landed on 最佳, 返回页首 of me. Thank God for my prehensile hair. It softened my landing a bit, but I was still fairly sore.
“Kurt?” I whispered. He groaned.
“Kurt, if 你 want to sleep, I don’t care, just tell me you’re okay” I pleaded, kneeling beside him. I noticed there was a large bloody gash on his stomach and his shoulder looked dislocated. I picked him up. I focased and my hair shot up and grabbed the copter. It brought me and Kurt up. I laid him carefully in the copter. Suddenly, the copter started lurching one way. I ran to the cockpit and found Domino with a device on her forehead.
“Quicksilver, 你 douche” I muttered. I pushed Domino from the 座位 and sat down. I pulled the helicopter up from its rapid descent. I flew away from Gotham, to Bayville. I landed the chopper and ran into Xavier’s academy, Kurt and Domino slung over my shoulders.
“Beast!” I cried. Kitty Pryde came down the stairs.
“Gambette, what the-“ she started
“Get Beast” I ordered. She nodded and ran off through the walls. Soon enough, Beast came running in.
“What happened?” he demanded
“Too much to explain. Just help them!” I ordered
“Follow me” he said. I followed him to a disguised elevator and we took it down to the real institute. I laid both Domino and Night Crawler on the table.
“Take good care of them, Beast” I said
“I will” he nodded. I walked out.
“Where are 你 going?” he asked
“I have some business. With the Brother Hood” I growled. I walked 由 Forge.
“I’m taking the Black Bird” I 评论 as I walked by. He stopped and spun around.
“I just finished repairing her from the last time 你 took her out” he protested. We entered the hanger. I pulled out a small 刀 and made a long scrape on the jet.
“Like Logan always says, the first scratch always hurts the most” I smirked, entering the jet. I laughed and flew off, leaving Forge gapping.
