There are so many to choose from ,and so many that 你 can mix together! I think a setting is the hardest part of a story to decide on when writing. I do really enjoy medieval because it just makes everything so much 更多 mysterious with dim lights from torches and the action from swords 或者 even the idea of royalty and kingdoms is incredible. But I would have to say that the best setting would be anything that gets the reader curious 或者 drawn in. Anything that is upbeat and action-packed has to be the best. Hope I helped! (:
I don't really have one. For me, it's whatever feels right for my story. Like right now I'm 写作 a story that I haven't decided a proper time period for but it's some 交叉, 十字架 between early WW2 and 2004. Another story I'm 写作 takes place in 2050. So yeah, whatever the story needs it to be.
