Whenever 你 are working on a story do 你 ever look for pictures of what 你 want the characters to look like for inspiration, 或者 am I the only one?

Just curious if anyone else uses this strategy, because I have a lot of weird files of pictures of things and people for the purpose of picturing them better in the story.
