What are some words to describe flying?

Soar, float, glide, 圈, 圈子 (as in 圈, 圈子 the house), climb (higher), dash, flit, flutter, flap (wings, maybe), whiz, zip, zoom, speed, skim, hover, sail, maneuver...

Soared, floated... Ugh, I can't think of anymore, sorry!

Glided....like on air currents 或者 something...

I'm looking for the same thing, but here are some words I thought of.
- Soared
- Beat ( for wings, eg `she gradually started beating her wings before taking off into the night air` )
- Hovered 或者 floated ( for staying in one place )
- Sprinted ( not for flying, but for taking off, eg `I sprinted for the edge of the building and leaped into the sky` )
