I'm not sure if it'd alter my personal opinion of her, although I must admit that I do think it is a refreshing trait for a Disney protagonist to have, especially for a female protagonist. So I do respect the character designers for giving her that trait, especially as it was likely a bit of a gamble for them to make that decision too (not exactly what the audience may have been expecting).

Although it's more the fact that she is so hardworking and focused on her ambitions that I really love about her and find inspirational. So as long as she doesn't lose this side of her, then I think I'd like her the same amount.

And hey, there's no reason she should have to lose that side of her either! Admittedly I can be a bit of a dreamer at times, and yet I'm still hardworking and always putting in my best efforts. Basically, for me, having lots of dreams and wishes doesn't mean I can't still work hard for and earn what I have fair and square. So there's no reason it shouldn't work for a fictional character either. :)

it's not my favorite trait or anything, but it definitely is a core part of her character and she wouldn't be the same.
