So 你 want to buy a vocaloid but don't know where to start? Well I'm hoping that 由 写作 this I might be able to help some, there's a lot of confusion and options out there.
First, obviously figure out which vocaloid 你 want to buy. Remember to take into account how challenging they are to use (varies from vocaloid to vocaloid), any language barriers (If 你 don't know Japanese, don't buy a Japanese only vocaloid!) and what system requirements are needed to run the program (though this shouldn't be to much of an issue, check anyway). Also it might be worth it to look and see if there's going to be an updated version of the vocaloid coming out soon if your buying a V2/V1 vocaloid. It might be worth it to wait for the V3 to come out since 初音未来 are rather expensive. Why not get the latest stuff? They are computer software when it comes to it, stuff gets outdated.
秒 were to buy? This is were a lot of confusion comes in. THERE IS NO LEGAL WAY TO GET A 初音未来 FULL VOICEBANK LEGALLY FOR FREE. If 你 want a free voicebank, look into getting UTAU. While 你 can get 初音未来 through e-bay and Amazon, I highly recommend buying from the company that sells the vocaloid 你 want, website. With E-bay your getting used, for expensive computer stuff that can be iffy, with both sites 你 risk getting counterfeit voicebanks. Unless 你 know what your doing and trust the buyer, I do not recommend using e-bay, amazon, 或者 any other site; regardless of how much money 你 might save.
Thirdly, and this is were problems with buying can happen, is the price. I will tell 你 right now that the average price of a vocaloid is about 150$-200$. If your getting a V3, its recommend to buy the V3 editor and that's about another 100$. These are price ranges taken from the official company websites, so if your on E-bay thinking Miku for 75$ awesome, there's probably a very good reason for that price, and its probably not a good one. If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is.
Lastly just remember that if 你 want to make a good song, it will take some time, 你 will have to mess around with the program. Good songs do take effort, but are worth it! Fun fact, people becoming to frustrated with the program to make anything good was how Neru was created! Just saying don't go putting 200$ into something 你 don't think you'll be able to commit to! Which is to say, don't let what I just 说 totally stop you, if 你 have the time and patience go for it!
Well that's about it for now. Just some things I hope a person buying a vocaloid might take into consideration. They are expensive so make sure 你 know your stuff before putting your money into it. Remember when shopping that if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is.

I've seen people become die hards and for people (like me) who want to be one, here's some steps for this club.
1) Contribute 视频 everyone enjoys.2
2) Contribute 链接 everyone enjoys.
3) Contribute 图片 everyone enjoys.
4) Contribute fanpicks and 答案 that everyone will answer and enjoy :)
你 may start off as a Dedicated Fan, but as time progresses and as 你 devote 更多 of your time to this club, it will eventually develop into a Die-Hard. And who knows, maybe you'll get a Fanatic :3
This is a repost so don't give me any troll threats about it. (that includes 你 Darkhorn) ^^ im trying to help some people.
