What's your opinion?

I read a vampire novel called "Sweetblood", the main character, who is a gothic/diabetic teen, writes in an English(or something like that) paper that 18th Century diabetics were the original 吸血鬼 since they didn't have insulin back in those times.

Do agree 或者 disagree? What's your opinion?
