I don't really care if Kate Beckinsale isn't in it. I don't watch movies just because they have a certain actor in. Also, it wouldn't fit to have Selene in because it's a prequel set before she was even born.

I'm disappointed that it's not a continuation of Selene and Michael's story (I think it would be awesome if she became pregnant!), but I'm still looking forward to seeing more from this universe. I love the premise of vampires and werewolves coming from the same source.

Same here. I really hope they do another sequel to follow Michael and Selene.

I wish they would, but I doubt it. They're probably doing the prequel just because they couldn't get Beckinsale to come back for a sequel to U:Evolution. So they chose a timeframe when they wouldn't need her.

actually, there are rumors of another movie after this one that will be the continuation of Selene and Michael's story

this movie is AWESOME.....they HAVE to do a fourth....there is just so much more story that they can tell...and unlike other sequels and prequels this series seems to be getting better with each installment
