"No.We've never seen them before,"my dad said.I squeezed Jacob's hand,seeking reasurance.He smiled and rubbed my arm."They'll be back,but we need to intervene before the Volturi steps in,"he finished.
Emmet leaned forward,his eyes twinkling mishcheivously."Great!I could use a good fight!"Rosalie hissed.He rolled his eyes and muttered something unintelligable under his breath.
"No.We need to find out who they were and what they wanted."Carlisle chided.
Jasper and Alice rushed into the room."We 迷失 their trail halfway to Seattle."Alice said."It just...disappeared."
"Well,we know they will be back,"Esme said,stepping in."In the meantime,we'll just have to keep our senses alert."

I rolled over in my bed,trying to find a better position,when I felt warm hands hold mine.
"J-Jake?I muttered sleepily."JAKE!"My eyes fluttered open and I nearly fell out of my bed."WHAT THE HECK ARE 你 DOING IN MY HOUSE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT?"I shrieked.
"Come on!"He said."Let's go!"
"Go where?"I asked."It's the freakin' middle of the night and I'm still in my sweats!"
"Let's go finish what we weren't able to do yesterday."He said.
Then I thought,hey,as long as I was with him,I'd be happy!So I climbed out of my 床, 床上 and started to pull my slippers on when I thought of something."Where's Mom and Dad?"
"They're up at Carlisle's,"he said.I breathed a sigh of relief and finished pulling my slippers on.I took his hand and led him outside.We stopped on the patio.The moonlight bathed us in a brilliant white light.I stood on my tiptoes and kissed him.
Soon,we were zooming through the trees.The wind buffeted my face,and my hair billowed out in a golden curtain behind me.We stopped in a clearing where the ground sloped out into a calm pool of water in which the moonlight bathed itself in.Suddenly,Jacob bared his razor-sharp teeth,and all went black in an agony of white hot pain in my left arm.
