Bella looked great in her dress. The way it fit the curve of her bust and flared around her calves. But it wasn't her.

"Where are we going?" She asked as I pulled out of the driveway.

"To let 你 change. 你 aren't comfortable in that dress. I can tell. I'm going to change too. This isn't really my thing either." I chuckled.

"Fair enough." She smiled.

"Where do 你 live?"

"On Fellow."

"Near the high school?" I turned.

"Yeah. I teach there." She nodded.

"What do 你 teach?"

"Advanced English Lit."

I wasn't surprised. "Do 你 enjoy it?"

"More than anything. I 爱情 hearing their theories. A girl Friday 说 what if Juliet was pregnant and was keeping it from Romeo? She went to tell him and thought she found him dead. She couldn't live with half of what was the 爱情 of her life without him...so she didn't. What if Romeo knew all along and saw her dead and decided he couldn't live without them?"

"Started out to be a great ending, then took a turn for the worst. Just like times now."

"Exactly. Maybe, they weren't so much 更多 different from us as people think. Pull in here." She pointed to a small white house with blue shutters. "It's small I know, but I 爱情 it."

"It looks like you." I agreed.

"Please, come in while I change." She pleaded as she walked to her door.

Followed her into her little cottage and smiled at how homey and her it looked.

"I'll be out shortly." She ran into her room and I paced around the small living room, looking at pictures of who I assumed where her as a child with who was obviously her mother and father. Pictures of her mother and father being in the smae picture stopped when she looked about 7. The ones with her mother looked bright and sunny, around 马 and riding them. The ones with her father were a bit darker. Fishing boats and forests in the back ground of them.

"My parents divorced when I was 7." I turned to her voice and almost had a 心 attack.

She had on ruffed up cut of shorts on, a black and white plad 衬衫 with the sleeves rolled up and...cowboy boots with studds.

"Cowboy boots?" I heard my voice raise and octave higher.

"Yeah. One of the few things I brought from home." She smiled and walked towards me.

"And where is home?"

"Tennessee." She picked up a picture with her mom and her in it. "It's where my mom and I lived. My dad lived in Washington state when they divorced. I visted him a 月 out of the summers." She paused and laughed half heartedly. "I don't know why I'm telling 你 all this."

"Because somewhere, in your head, 你 knew I was wondering." I smiled. "Come on. My turn to change."

Bella POV

I was pouring my past out to this hot singer/guitar player from the huge band Sweet Affairs, and he listend to every word I said.

I paced around his apartment, taking in everything I could, like he had done at my house. The pictures of his friends/ band mates were littered around the living room, guitars hanging on one wall. Over his fireplace was a gaint 照片 of him, on stage, 唱歌 into the mic. The spot like was shinging down on him, beads of sweat running down his face, while he strummed his accustic. He looked so into the 音乐 and beautiful I couldn't resist but to reach up and touch his face lightly with my fingertips.

"That was our first big concert." I spun around quickly to the sound of Edward's voice. "Everyseat had someone sitting in it. The floor...you couldn't even fit a leg in the crowed." He chuckled. "I was 唱歌 the first 爱情 song I wrote alone. Never say Never. And I relized...so many other people know exactly how I felt when I wrote this because they had, have, 或者 did feel the same way."

"I know I did." I whispered. "When...when my ex and I broke up...I listen to this song all the time. I know the words 由 heart. Alice and Rosalie would come and nearly bust down the door when we lived together because I put it on replay." I laughed.

"I still feel that way." He smiled into my eyes.

"Is this song about the girl, too?" I asked.

He nodded.

"What was her name?"

"Beth." His eyes twinkled at her name. "Will 你 tell me about Jacob?"

I looked at him, completely confused.

"I can see you're still hurting a little." He shrugged and took my hand, leading me out of the house.

"So. 你 want to know about Jake?" I asked as I got into his car. He shut the door, walked around to the drivers side, and got in.

"I what to know everyhthing about you." He smiled at me.

"Are 你 sure? There is kind of alot of baggage."

"I like baggage." He shrugged. "Expecially if it's lost. If it's unclaimed, 你 get to keep it."

I blushed and looked out my window. "Everything?"

"Everything." He confirmed.

"Will 你 tell be about you?" I asked.

"Of course."

I nodded and looked back at him. "My parents were completely in love. They were high school sweet hearts. All it took was prom night...and here I am." I laughed half heartedly. "They got married right out of school, Daddy went to the police acadamy, Mom stayed at 首页 with me. HE became cheif of police in Nashville and Mom went back to school.

"He had to start working over time when Mom went to school to keep 食物 on the table, a roof over our heads. He was comming 首页 late and Mom started to feel like she was haveing to raise me 由 herself since Daddy was always working.

"She got fed up with it and that's when they started fighting. I would lock myself in my room, and just cry. I tried music, pillows over my head, but no matter what I did, I could still hear them. It was like...they got louder on purpose.

"When they split, they decided it would be better to stay with my mom. I wouldn't have to 移动 schools, I would be somewhere fimilar. But it wasn't. Without Daddy there it just felt...like I didn't belong there anymore. That's when Mom got the horses. I loved them. I rode everyday after school and during the summer when I wasn't with Daddy. I would just ride and let them take me away where they wanted to.

"I went off to college at Columbia U and met Jake." I sighed. This is where it was going to get hard. "He was sweet, and sexy, and all the right things. We had been dating for a 年 when....I got pregnant." I let out a shakey breath. "I was scared...freaking out. But Jake calmed me down and told me it was gonig to be alright and we would get through it together.

"He stayed with me through it all. The sickness, the bitchyness." I could feel the tears starting to sting in my eyes. "I was so excited. It was crazy how excited I was....but I was also really worried. I felt like something wasn't right. Three months in...I woke up in the worst pain I had ever imagined. I misscarried. Two months later Jake left. The lease was up. I kind of 迷失 it all at the same time. Rose and Alice helped me. They got me through it. I finished college, got my degree and here I am." I whiped the few shed tears and smiled weekly.

Edward took my hand and looked over at me. "Maybe, it was for the best."

"It was." I nodded. "I figured out Jake was still with me because of the baby. We would have divorced eventually if we had gotten married. I would have done the same thing to my child that my parents did to me."

He wiped the last tear and smiled at me. "Now, 你 can start all over. Start right. Get married, then have children."

I nodded and smiled.

He put the car in park infront and turned off the car. "I want 你 to meet some people." He took my hand when I exited the car and started walking toward a large building. He opened the creaking door and it closed with a bang behind us. It ws pitch black around us with the door closed but he kept walking untill I heard another door open, light flooding around us. "Hey!" Edward's voice rung out with a smile.

"Dude!" A deep voice called back.

We rounded the corner and the other two members of the band were sitting on a leather couch. They stood up when they saw me enter, their eyes going wide.

"Emmett, Jasper, this is Bella." Edward smiled.

They looked at Edward dumbfounded then back at me. What was gonig on?
