I was sitting in a iron chair outside my new 2 story house, complete with white siding, and a porch swing.

Jacob, my twin brother, and I had been living with Cheif 天鹅 in Tennessee for the past 5 months. We were only here untill we turned 18, which, since Monday, wouldn't be for another year.

We both loved Charlie 给 he was our "uncle". He was one of Mom and Dad's good 老友记 who found out that they had "died" in may and he was the only thing close we had to family here on Earth. Yes, here on Earth.

But what he doesn't know, is that Dad is very much alive, and so is Mom. One is still in the pits of hell and the other reining in Olympis. Yes, I 说 hell and Olympis.

Her long limbs but gracefulness...not so much. I only inherrited Dad's pale skin and profusing blush.

Jacob on the other hand was a spitting image of my mother, put into a guys form. He had sun kissed skin, brown, shiny beautiful, but straight hair, brown eyes, the arched bow lips and high cheek bones. He had Dad's muscular build.

The wind was picking up speed from a storm that would be hitting soon. My hair wipped around my face and blocked my view of my new book Water for Elephants. The trees' loose and gapping leaves were slapping and flying around every so often. It was the begining of September, so the already fallen leaves were blowing around in the yard.

I sighed finally giving up on my book and marked my page. I held it in my lap as I looked at the rolling storm 云, 云计算 and thought maybe, just maybe, I should go inside. I would wait for the rain to start.

I laid my book on my 台, 办公桌 and grabbed my clothes for my shower. I dropped them off on the toilet lid and walked over to Jake's door.

I pounded on his door hoping he would hear me over his death growels. My prayer was answered when the door opened and a towering Jacob was standing over me. "Hey." He smiled breathless.

"Air guitar?" I smirked, crossing my arms.

"Maybe." He smirked back. "Did ja' need something?"

"Could 你 turn your screaming down a little bit? I'm going to take a 淋浴 and I won't be able to hear my 音乐 over your's." I pouted.

"Sure thing."

"Thanks, Jake." I kissed his cheek and retreated into the bathroom.


After lathering myself in vaniella scents, I wrapped a towl around me and stepped out. "Crap." I muttered. I had left my lotion in my room. I grabbed my clothes and boalted toward my room, closing the door quickly behind me. Safe.

After dressed and cover in my 最喜爱的 lotion, warm vanilla sugar, I slid on some lip gloss flavored...you got it, vanilla. I surprised myself with a yawn and looked at the clock. 7:30.
I had had a tiring day. I went shopping for clothes for school today and had been up since 8, going ever since. I could treat myself to an early sleep tonight.

I turned off the lights and crawled into bed, pulling the covers up to my neck. I sighed deeply and let my mind run free, sending me into sleep.


I looked myself over in the mirror one last time. I had a blue button up shirt, the cuffs rolled up to my elbows, tucked into a pair of shorts with a leather cord tied in the beltloops, and my new bought brown cowboy boots. I sighed contently and nodded to my reflection.

"Bella! Let's go! 你 look fine!" Jacob called from downstairs.

I grabbed my bag laughing. "You couldn't even see me." I told him, walking out the door.

"I didn't have to. You're my sister and 你 always look beautiful." He smiled at me. Okay, maybe he was the perfect brother, but he didn't need to know that.

"Thanks Jake." I smiled back.

We climbed in our Camaro's, I in my white and he in his black,-yes we are polor oppisites- and took off toward the school.

I knew the guys there were going to be an issue. I was in no way, form, 或者 fashion, going to be able to aviod the "I have seen the sun for the first time and now I'm going to walk in slow motion" thing from them. Never have been able to since 6th grade. And to make it worse, they really were seeing me for the first time. They were anoying.

I pulled up in the parking lot and took a deep breath. Here go's nothing.

I got out of my car and the guys started walking in slomo. I sighed internally. I shut my door and ran my hand through my hair, starting for the school, putting a little 更多 wait on my feet than needed to give my hips a little 更多 swing. Hey, I 说 the guys were anoying, I didn't say I didn't agg it on.

Thank 你 Athena and Hades for my looks! Just keep on staring....you're never going to tap this. I scoffed to myself. I wrenched the door open to the cafeteria. I looked around for someone to sit with. I spotted a rather short girl surrounded my other girls at her table. She had wavy brown hair like mine, but it was dull and dammaged.

I strutted over to her and tapped on her shoulder. "Mind if I sit with you?" I smiled.

She rolled her eyes a laughed. "I don't think so."

"Are 你 sure?" I asked. I stared into her eyes 'Ask me to sit with you'.

She blinked and smiled. "Why don't 你 sit with us? Tanya will scoot over, won't 你 Tanya."

A girl with long 草莓 blond hair and bright blue eyes looked surprised. "Uh, sure." She moved down one 座位 and I took hers.

"My name is Jessica. What's your name?" She asked.

"Bella Swan." I smiled back. "I just moved here with Charlie."

"I didn't know Chief Black had a daughter!" She gasped.

"Oh, no." I laughed. "He adopted my brother, Jacob, and I. See, our real parents are Athena and Hades."

All the girls at the 表 stared then burst into laughter. "You're really funny." Jessica laughed.

I laughed with them. "Guess so." Little did they know.

I looked over to check on Jake who was laughing with a bunch of guys in jerseys. Good. He's on a good side. I could feel eyes staring at me, and not your normal teenage boy eyes either.

My head flipped around and my eyes met with a 表 of five staring at me. A blond who was clearly jealous, a huge brunett guy, a short spiky haird girl who reminded me of 小叮当 and a blond haird boy at her right. The lasat one was to undescribable for words.

His hair was carelessly tousled around his chizzled jaw and perfect nose fit on his perfectly angular face. His eyes were a peircing butterscoth gold, his lips the perfect cupid's bow.

"Who is that?" I asked Jessica.

"The one staring at you? Edward Cullen. Aka, Adonis." She giggled.

He was no Adonis. I had met Adonis. Edward Cullen was much 更多 beautiful.

Be careful of what 你 get yourself into, Isabella. My mother was telling me in my head.

I know what he is. I told them. I know what they all are. Vampires.

I had met every god and goddess known to man plus some man didn't know, elves, dragons, wizzards, whiches, werewolves. My last relationship was with a wherewolf, it didn't work out. Name a creature, I had met it. But never had I met a vampire. Yet.

I stood up and walked over to his table.

"Hi." I told them all.

"Hi!" 小叮当 smiled. "I'm Alice." Corection, her name isn't Tinkerbell. "This is Jasper, Rosalie, Emmett...and Edward." They all 说 'Hi' except for Edward. He didn't move. "I have a feeling we are all going to get along just perfect." Alice smiled wide.

I smiled back at her. Of course we would. I was going to make Edward mine. Nothing, and I mean nothing, was going to stop me.
