Four years goes 由 faster than you'd think it would.
Sarah has grown so much. I see 更多 and 更多 Jacob in her everyday. Certin things she says, faces she makes. She's not a baby anymore.

I picked her up from daycare that 日 and she was coloring on the 厨房 table.
"Mommy?" She asked never looking up from her picture.
"Yes sweetie?" I wiped my hands off on the towel and sat 下一个 her.
"How come I don't have a daddy like Emma?" She put down her blue crayon and picked up a brown.
"You do." I sighed. "Sarah, can 你 look at me?" I put my hand on her arm. I told her the story and she looked up at me. Her face fell. "I'm sorry mommy."
I smiled slightly. "It's okay honey. 你 do have a daddy. And 你 know what? He'll come back. Want to know something else?"
"What?" She asked, cocking her head making her pig tails go to oneside.
"You look like him 更多 and 更多 everyday." I smiled. "Want to see and picture of him?"
She nodded and we walked into my 床, 床上 room. She sat on my 床, 床上 and I handed her a picture frame. It was Jake, Me, and Sarah on the front steps when Sarah was one.
She kicked her legs against my bed. "Is that daddy?" She asked pointing to Jacob.
"That's your daddy." I nodded.
She nodded. "I miss him." She whispered.
"Me to, sweetie. Everyday." I sniffled.
She kissed his picture and set the frame down on the bed. She jumped off the 床, 床上 and walked back into the kitchen.
I took and deep breath and set the frame back on my side table. "We really miss you, Jake. Please hurry."

The 下一个 日 at daycare was bring a parent to school day. All the kids brought their parents who were doctors 或者 firefighters. The usual stuff. It was Sarah's turn last. She took a peice of paper out of her bag and walked up to the front.
"My name is Sarah. My mommy is sitting in the back, but I really brought him." She turned the picture around and pointed. She had brought the picture of us an was pointing at Jake. "That's my daddy. He didn't leave me. I loved me. 更多 than anything. He died when I was really little. That's me." She pointed to herself next.
"I wish 你 could meet him." She turned the piture around and stared at it. Her bottom lip puckered out and she looked up at me. "I really miss my daddy." She sobbed and ran to me. I held her in my arms, her tears soaking my shirt.
"Me too." I whispered to her. "Me too."

The drive 首页 was quite. I looked back at her and she was staring out the window, the picture still in her hands.
"Are 你 okay?" I asked her.
She only nodded.
"Are 你 hungry?" She shook her head.
"Thirsty?" She shook her head.
She was quiet for a moment before she spoke.
"Do 你 think daddy remembers me, Mommy?"
"I know so." I told her.
"Promise?" She asked turning her head and looking at me through the mirror.
"I promise." I nodded.

Jake's POV


Once I had found another wolf, I attached myself to him. I would feel my every nerve wind into his. I could now see out of his eyes, and our 心 beat in unison. It was me now. I phased back into my own body. I looked at my hands flipping them and feeling my arms.
I laughed aloud. I could be with Renesmee and Sarah now. I took off running toward our house. I ran for days, stopping only to eat and sleep and couple hours. All the lights were off and I had now noticed it was night. I listened to Renesmee's 心 beat and sighed in relief. I heard Sarah cry and the lights switched on and I heard Renesmee speak.
"It's okay." She soothed her.
"I miss daddy." She sobbed.
"Me too, sweetie." She agreed.
How long had I been gone?
Sarah had finally stopped crying. "Good night honey." Renesmee told her. "Remember, tomorrow 你 turn five." I could hear the smile in her voice and Sarah giggled with excitment.
Four years? I shook my head and knocked on the door. I was suddenly nervous. Would she know who I was? I still looked the same. Would she believe me? I heard the lock click and the door opened.
"Renesmee." I breathed.
She stared at me wide eyed, in shock.
"I told 你 if I ever went, I would come back to you." I stepped in to door. "And I kept that promise. I searched for years trying to find another. And-" She cut me off, throwing her arms around my neck and 接吻 me with full force. I wrapped my arms around her after closing the door behind me. I felt her tears meet mine on our cheeks. She pulled away and cried in my shoulder.
"Your here." She sobbed. "You're finally here."
I spoke in her hair. "I'm here."
"Mommy?" I heard a small voice in the hall. I looked up from Nessi's shoulder and to the voice.
She was standing in the start of the hallway staring at me. She had on a 粉, 粉色 night 袍, 礼服 that hit the floor, being just a bit to big for her. Her hair was long and pin straight. She held onto a stuffed white 狼 由 the tail and rubbed her eyes with the other hand.
I walked over to her and kneeled. She looked at me for a moment before stroking my cheek with her fingers. She smiled. "Hi, Daddy."
I picked her up and held onto her. She wrapped her small arms around my neck and laid her head on my shoulder. "I knew 你 would come back." She said. She lifted her head and smiled. "Mommy told me."
