Rosalie's POV

I was in my room sobbing over my old life and the the fact I will be cold and hard forever. A knock at my door broke my thoughts. I quickly pulled myself together and said, "come in." The door opened wide enough to revel Edward, my brother for all intensive purposes. Edward was tall and always looked to have a sadden, i'm going to hurt 你 if 你 say the wrong thing to melook on his face. His hair stuck up every which a way, people we went to school with here in Astoria say he has hair like Elvis. He slowly stepped through the doorway I looked at him and 说 "Yes Edward, is anything wrong?"
He looked at me for a 分钟 and said, "you need to hunt, your eyes are starting to get dark and everyone's worried because 你 haven't been in a while."
"Ok Edward, I will go hunting." I told him getting off my 床, 床上 and following him down stairs.
When I got down stairs I saw Esme, my mother, she has light brown hair that hung in curls just below her shoulders. I call her my mother because that is what she is, she is a better mother than my old one, not that I didn't 爱情 her though. "We are going hunting, we will be back soon." I 说 grabbing my 夹克 out of the closet.
"Alright, Carlisle should be returning from hunting himself." Esme 说 in return.
I smiled at her and followed Edward out the door. As soon as we reached the edge of the woods we both began to run. Edward stopped suddenly. What could possibly be wrong i thought.
"A herd of deer." he answered the thought that was in my head. It gets really annoy that he can read my every thoughts. "Tell me about." He 说 as he went after the buck that just emerged into the clearing in front of us.
A smaller female emerged behind it and I ran after. I put broke its neck so it can't fight and it won't feel anymore pain and slowly sank my teeth into its neck. The warm blood trickled out of the wound my teeth created and down my throat.
"I'm going back home." Edward 说 as I rose from the deer.
"Ok, I'm going to hunt a little longer." I responded.
Edward started running towards home, at that time, I had no idea of the tragedy of my decision.
