TWILIGHT - chapter 1 - FIRST SIGHT

My mother drove me to the airport with the windows rolled down. It was seventy-five degrees in Phoenix, the sky a perfect, cloudless blue. I was wearing my 最喜爱的 衬衫 - sleeveless, white eyelet lace; I was wearing it as a farewell gesture. My carry-on item was a parka.
In the Olympic Peninsula of northwest Washington State, a small town named Forks exists under a near-constant cover of clouds. It rains on this inconsequential town 更多 than any other place in the United States of America. It was from this town and its gloomy, omnipresent shade that my mother escaped with me when I was only a few months old. It was in this town that I'd been compelled to spend a 月 every summer until I was fourteen. That was the 年 I finally put my foot down; these past three summers, my dad, Charlie, vacationed with me in California for two weeks instead.
It was to Forks that I now exiled myself - an action that I took with great horror. I detested Forks.
I loved Phoenix. I loved the sun and the blistering heat. I loved the vigorous, sprawling city.
"Bella," my mom 说 to me - the last of a thousand times - before I got on the plane. "You don't have to do this."
My mom looks like me, except with short hair and laugh lines. I felt a spasm of panic as I stared at her wide, childlike eyes. How could I leave my loving, erratic, hair-brained mother to fend for herself? Of course she had Phil now, so the bills would probably get paid, there would be 食物 in the refrigerator, gas in her car, and someone to call when she got lost, but still...
"I want to go," I lied. I'd always been a bad liar, but I'd been saying this lie so frequently lately that it sounded almost convincing now.
"Tell Charlie I 说 hi."
"I will."
"I'll see 你 soon," she insisted. "You can come 首页 whenever 你 want - I'll come right back as soon as 你 need me."
But I could see the sacrifice in her eyes behind the promise.
"Don't worry about me," I urged. "It'll be great. I 爱情 you, Mom."
She hugged my tightly for a minute, and then I got on the plane, and she was gone.
It's a four-hour flight from Phoenix to Seattle, another 小时 in a small plane up to Port Angeles, and then an 小时 drive back down to Forks. Flying doesn't bother me; the 小时 in the car with Charlie, though, I was a little worried about.
Charlie had really been fairly nice about the whole thing. He seemed genuinely please that I was comeing to live with him for the first time with any degree of permanence. He'd already gotten me registered for high school and was going to help me get a car.
But it was sure to be awkward with Charlie. Neither of us was what anyone would call verbose, and I didn't know what there was to say regardless. I knew he was 更多 than a little confused 由 my decision - like my mother before me, I hadn't made a secret of my distaste for Forks.
When I landed in Port Angeles, it was raining. I didn't see it as an omen - just unavoidable. I'd already 说 my goodbyes to the sun.
Charlie was waiting for me with the cruiser. This I was expecting, too. Charlie is Police Cheif 天鹅 to the good people of Forks. My primary motivation behind buying a car, despite the scarcity of my funds, was that I refused to be driven around town in a car with red and blue lights on top. Nothing slows traffic down like a cop.
Charlie gave me an awkward, one-armed hug when I stumbled my way off the plane.
"It's good to see you, Bells," he said, smiling as he automatically caught and steadied me. "You haven't changed much. How's Renee?"
"Mom's fine. It's good to see your, too, Dad." I wasn't allowed to call him Charlie to his face.
I had only a few bags. Most of my Arizona clothes were too permeable for Washington. My mom and I had pooled our resources to supplement my winter wardrobe, but it was still scanty. It all fit easily into the trunck of the cruiser.
"I found a good car for you, really cheap," he announced when we were strapped in.
"What kind of car?" I was suspicious of the way he 说 "good car for you" as opposed to just "good car."
"Well, it's a truck actually, a Chevy."
"Where did 你 find it?"
"Do 你 remember Billy Black from La Push?" La Push is the tiny Indian reservation on the coast.
"No."
"He used to go fishing with us during the summer," Charlie prompted.
That would explain why I didn't remember him. I do a good job of blocking painful, unnecessary things from my memory.
"He's in a wheelchair now," Charlie continued when I didn't respond, "so he can't drive anymore, and he offered to sell me his truck cheap."
"What 年 is it?" I could see from his change of expression that this was the wuestion he was hoping I wouldn't ask.
"Well, Billy's done a lot of work on the engine - it's only a few years old, really."
I hope he didn't think so little of me as to believe I would give up that easily. "When did he buy it?"
"He bought it in 1984, I think."
"Did he buy it new?"
"Well, no. I think it was new in the early sixties - 或者 late fifties at the earliest," he admitted sheepishly.
"Ch - Dad, I don't really know anything about cars. I wouldn't be able to fix it if anything went wrong, and I couldn't afford a mechanic...."
"Really, Bella, the thing runs great They don't build them like that anymore."
The thing, I thought to myself... it had possibilities - as a nickname, at the very least.
"How cheap is cheap?" After all, that was the part I couldn't compromise on.
"Well, honey, I kind of already bought it for you. As a homecoming gift." Charlie peeked sideways at me with a hopeful expression.
Wow. Free.
"You didn't need to do that, Dad. I was going to buy myself a car."
"I don't mind. I want 你 to be happy here." He was looking ahead at the road when he 说 this. Charlie wasn't comfortable with expressing his emotions out loud. I inherited that from him. So I was looking straight ahead as I responded
"That's really nice, Dad. Thanks. I really appreciate it." No need to add that my being happy in Forks is an impossibility. He didn't need to suffer along with me. And I never looked a free truck in the mouth - 或者 engine.
"Well, now, you're welcome." ne mumbled embarrassed 由 my thanks.
We exchanged a few 更多 评论 on the weather, which was wet, and that was pretty much it for conversation. We stared out the windows in silence.

I became very interested in 占星术 and natal charts after discovering the website, "Always Astrology" not too long ago. Ever since, I've been doing everyone's natal charts xD

So far, I've done one chart for a character. But I had just done Edward's now. So here it is, in case anyone is interested. :)

Edward Cullen's Natal Chart

Edward Cullen was born on June 20th, 1901 in Chicago, Illinois.

Hello again. Sorry for not posting earlier - I was pretty busy, sorry if there are some mistakes and thanks for 阅读 :)

“Beautiful” she said, following my gaze.
“It’s all right” I answered. I turned slowly to face her. She was naked. Her body was so perfect – pale skin seemed almost like mine. I twisted my hand up so I could twine our fingers. I hoped that it was warm enough for her not to feel cold of my touch.
“But I wouldn’t use the word beautiful. Not with 你 standing here in comparison”. It was true - I was dazzled...

I can feel what you’re feeling now — and 你 are worth it.
Jasper Hale, Twilight, Chapter 19, p.404

You’re worrying about all the wrong things, Bella. Trust me on this — none of us are in jeopardy. 你 are under too much strain as it is; don’t add to it with wholly unnecessary worries. Listen to me! Our family is strong. Our only fear is losing you.

My instincts told me that there was danger, that...

TWILIGHT - chapter 13 - CONFESSIONS

If I'd ever feared death before in the presence, it was nothing compared to now.
He streaked through the dark, thick underbrush of the forest like a bullet, like a ghost. There was no sound, no evidence that his feet touched the earth. His breathing never changed, never indicated and effort. But the trees flew 由 at deadly speeds, always missing 由 inches.
I was too terrified to close my eyes, though the cool forest air whipped against my face and burned them. I felt as if I were stupidly sticking my head out the window of an airplane...

TWILIGHT - chapter 10 - INTERROGATIONS

Under the shelter of the cafeteria roof's overhang, Jessica was waiting, her eyes about to bug out of their sockets. Over her arm, bless her, was my jacket.
"Hey, Jessica," I 说 when we were a few feet away. "Thanks for remembering." She handed me my 夹克 without speaking.
"Good morning, Jessica," Edward 说 politely. It wasn't really his fault that his voice was so irresistable. 或者 what his eyes were capable of.
"Er... hi." She shifted her wide eyes to me, trying to gather her jumbled thoughts. "I guess I'll see 你 in Trig."...

I personally 爱情 the Twilight series of novels (and now movies), but I know there’s been a lot of controversy regarding them. 作者 Stephenie Meyer, a conservative Mormon, places many of her values and beliefs in the story, such as creationism, linking the Quileute tribe with a link, and most notably the relationship between Bella and Edward in which he asserts total control over her life and she surrenders almost completely (I’m convinced that this is just a big 幻想 and not a representation of how she thinks women should live, though). This has raised definite controversy from the...

Want an explanation? I've been busy, and bored. I got a little 迷失 in my story, and all the other stories being 发布 on here. There are some people who can write and write and write, and get so much accomplished, and it takes me forever. I guess I get a little discouraged when I see some people are already on chapter 30 and I barely have 10 chapters.I also started 写作 other things, which got in the way. I'll try to force myself to stick with this, and continue to write.

PS - Thank 你 to everyone who bothered to write to me, asking me when I was going to update. It's 你 guys that remind...

“Stop biting your lip so hard, Bella. 你 will hurt yourself” Edward ordered me in his soft, velvet voice. I did as he said. We were in the car on our way to Charlie’s house to give him the news. I was so nervous. I wonder how my 心 must be beating. I thought of asking Edward but then let it drop.
“Let’s go out for 晚餐 today.” Edward suggested. As if 'we' will have dinner. He always wanted a way to spend money on me and take me to fancy places but I never allowed him. But now as things were going to change, I agreed to it....

 The Cullens
The Cullens
Twilight must be one of the most 流行的 teenage 图书 of all time and not only was it such a hit for the teenagers, but it was going well for various adults. The main gender that reads the series would be female, but it is widely read 由 males, too.

The movie was very well done. I thought it captured the main facts of the story. The actors were excellent, and all of the characters suited the ones that were imagined 由 millions of people worldwide. It really drew me in, caught my attention, and not once could I take my eyes off of the screen.

Criticism:
I think they rushed the movie a bit. I...

Extended Prom Remix

"When are 你 going to tell me what's going on, Alice?"
"You'll see, be patient," she ordered, grinning deviously.
We were in my truck, but she was driving. Three 更多 weeks and I'd be out of the walking cast, and then I was going to very firmly put my good foot down about the chauffeuring business. I liked driving.
It was late May, and somehow the land around Forks was finding ways to be even 更多 green...

Hello friends. Thank 你 for your support.
And hope, that you'll like the other chapter.

“Edward, please….don’t…don’t stop” I couldn’t hear pain in her voice any more. The 下一个 秒 she was in my arms, my lips traced down her neck, moving to her firm breasts, my hands tracing every rib. Bella’s hands were in my hair again. My name escaping from her parted lips. I knew, that I can’t lose control anymore - I slowed down me breathing, so it couldn’t intoxicate me in a such force.

“Hush, Bella, trust me” I whispered. I forced myself...
