I stood up at once and said:

“Can I go out? I’m not feeling…”

I went out of the class and then I ran to the main door which had a view to parking lot. I heard the voice of his car, the old one. Then I saw the shiny Volvo in the corner and then Edward came out of it. I ran toward him, and he did too. He got me in his cold hands which made me uncomfortable for a 秒 and then when I was on my feet again, he was staring in my eyes.

“Alice 说 that 你 aren’t good. What happened?”

I looked in his eyes. They were coal black so he wasn’t hunting, I got sure.

“Do 你 have any idea of what 你 did to me? 你 didn’t come last night, 你 didn’t 显示 up today till now! I should better ask from you! What happened?”

He looked away and pursed his lips together.

“ Bella, I’m having that 心 attack thing now and then, and Carlisle says till he figures out what’s up with me, I should not hang up with 你 that much, 或者 get close”

I looked in his eyes. I couldn’t even think of that moment in jungle. But still, if he wanted my blood so badly, I didn’t want to bother him. I was ready to give him my body, as I did give my soul already.

“I’m should go now, get back to the class, and say 你 couldn’t find the health teacher! She’s in the bathroom!”

I chuckled as I watched him getting in his car and then there was no sign of the Volvo. I went back to the class, and Edward’s excuse worked. When the 钟, 贝尔 rang, everyone got out of their classes. I saw mike and he waved to me.

“Hey Bella! Cullen’s not around today, huh?!”

I needed Edward on my side that moment to tell me what Mike was thinking. But he wasn’t there. So I answered him.

“Oh! Mike… Nope, He wasn’t feeling good, so he skipped today”

“ Really? We’re going to La push in the afternoon. Do 你 want to come?!”

I heard the last sentence while he whispered “and Cullen’s not invited” I laughed as I got away and went into my 下一个 class. I went home, and while I was driving, all I could think of was Edward.

Right after I got into Charlie’s house, phone rang. I rushed for it with my shoes on.

“Bella!”

I recognized Alice’s lovely voice.

“Hey Alice! Where’s your brother?”

She giggled and said:

“He should be at your door in five minutes! I also sent the things we bought together. Tanya wants to see you. Put on that dress I bought for you. Okay?!”

I didn’t want to disappoint her so I agreed and after two minutes, Edward was at Charlie’s door.

“Bella!”

“I know! Tanya wants to see me. Just give me the bag so I can dress up!”

He gave me the bag he had in his hand and then I ran to my room. He was already there.


“You can wait for me in your car, Edward!”

He nodded, and the expression on his face was unreadable. I picked the dress out of the bag and put it on. I put some lipstick on and then I headed downstairs to write Charlie a note. Then, I got out of the house.

“You look stunning!”

“Thank you”

I grinned as Edward recognized me and the dress at a time. He drove fast, as always and then we got to his family’s house.

“Ready?”

My 心 beat got fast as we got into his house. Then, I could see all of them in the living room. When I went in the living room, I saw Tanya finally. She was really beautiful, but not as Rosalie. She had dark eyes so that made me sure that she wasn’t thirsty to kill me! She recognized me with her eyes and then I got close to her and I could feel my 心 coming out of my chest.
