Not really. He kept on pushing his luck. Bella has told him she wasn't looking for 更多 than friendship. So he kind of set himself up for disappointment.
Plus, if 你 had read the books, then 你 know that Bella chose Edward. And in Breaking Dawn, Jacob gets his mate.

good point,but also even though Bella wanted just a friendship she was in 爱情 with him.
no! she wasn't! she thougth so! in breaking dawn she doesn't care about Jacob at all! she only dreams on Edward! Jacob was just a friend who wanted more! she never was trully in love! she forgot him so quickly and without trying so much!!
