in the first prom angela was with tall eric (if 你 remember it says that she was happy cauz she could were high shoes) but in the last one she is with short ben. in new moon it says that her relationship with ben survived during the summer. So no, eric isn't ben.
Eric was a character in Twilight who was Angela's 日期 to prom. Ben is Angela's boyfriend. They are NOT the same person. It is kind of confusing, I know.
