You can’t be too much of a soft hearted person in the world of The Walking Dead.  With walkers everywhere and humans trying to get your resources, you have to work hard to both protect yourself and be able to be assertive enough to protect what is yours.

Some characters just have a badass attitude.  Others can physically demolish things.  Despite how these characters do it, they have all got that certain survival quality that makes them a force to be reckoned with despite all the walkers, thieves and murderers out there.

At the writing of this list, we are currently halfway through season 5 of The Walking Dead.  We’ve seen many characters come and go in that time, but only 10 of them made this list of the biggest badass characters on the show.

Keep in mind this is just my opinion.  It is open to debates, and you are welcome to debate it in the comments below.  Whether you disagree with the order or a character in the top 10, all that means is that there have been many excellent tough folks on The Walking Dead that are worthy of consideration.
