It wasn’t until they were three blocks away before Derek braked and carefully looked at Damon. “Before 你 say anything, let me explain” he started. Damon still fell short of words and so Derek went ahead. “Veronica was Kelsey’s best friend. They met on college and she came visit Kelsey on daily basis. Since I was seeing Amber I had contact with Veronica, too. When Kelsey died Veronica came to this town for the funeral. She knew I was here and she contacted me. She 说 that if I really loved Amber I would do anything to kill the creature that killed her”
“Kelsey killed her” Damon snapped.
“Yes, but Stefan turned Amber” Derek explained. “Amber wouldn’t have died hadn’t she been a vampire and then Kelsey wouldn’t have gone to Stefan and 你 wouldn’t have killed her. Do 你 see the pattern here?”
“So, that’s why 你 introduced yourself as my new BFF?” Damon asked angry.
“No!” Derek exclaimed. “Yes” he added softly. He stroke his hair frustrated. “She convinced me that it was the right thing to do. She 说 it would be morally irresponsible if I’d sit back and do nothing”
“Then why did 你 turn against her?” Damon asked in disbelief. “Why are 你 here?”
“Because I realized she’s not going to make any exceptions” Derek 说 dark. “I’m a vampire, I’ll have to be eliminated”
“So, basically, you’re just trying to save your own ass” Damon replied.
“And saving yours in the process” Derek added. “Damon” he quickly said. “We have to go back”
“Why?”
“They have someone” Derek started cryptic. “She came barging in, she was upset. I think she wanted to kill as many people as possible. I don’t know how she found us, maybe Elena told her-”
“Who are 你 talking about?” Damon interrupted him.
Veronica had sent her minions away. She walked through one of the many aisles until she reached the door on the end. She pushed the latch down and pushed the door open.
In the center of the room there was a chair and on that chair someone was tied up. She was sitting with her back towards the door, so she didn’t see Veronica entering. She did, however, hear her high heels ticking on the floor as she walked to the chair. She came standing in front of her prisoner who looked up at her, terrified.
“So, Katherine” Veronica 说 cold and casual. “Where were we?”, before she shot an 《绿箭侠》 at her.
“Kelsey killed her” Damon snapped.

Damon tried to open his eyes, but the vervain burned too painful. Now he had 迷失 his sight he had to count on his hearing. And Bonnie gladly took advantage of that. She slowly step around Damon, waiting a few 秒 after each step.
“What are 你 doing?” Damon asked anxious.
But Bonnie didn’t answer.
She held a horn in her hands and held it right 下一个 to Damon’s ear.
“What are 你 doing?” Damon repeated. He tried to feel where Bonnie was with his free hand.
Bonnie grabbed his hand and turned it on his back, until she felt it break. While Damon cried she pressed the horn, which drowned his voice.

But Bonnie didn’t answer.

Elena and Bonnie were sitting outside the Grill, both having a lemonade, when both their phones rang.
“Bonnie” Bonnie said.
“Hello, Elena speaking” Elena said, trying not to give away anything and hoping Bonnie would be too caught up in her own conversation.
“It’s time” Damon said. “Meet me at the Boarding House. I’ll be in the car” He ended the conversation.
And so did Bonnie. “Elena, I’m so sorry, but I have to go” she apologized.
“Oh?” Elena 说 sheepish.
“Yeah, I’m having a 日期 tonight” Bonnie blushed.
“Really? That’s great! Who’s the lucky one?” Elena fired her curiosity.
“Ehm, I rather not say. At least not until it’s official” Bonnie said.
“Of course, I get it” Elena said. Bonnie put some money on the table. “See 你 tomorrow?”
“Yeah, tell me all that happened” Elena waved as Bonnie walked away. The moment she was gone Elena jumped up and ran away as if she was being chased.

He clicked on the third one. “I know what your are’
All 65 mails held the same message. I know what 你 are. Tyler clicked on the reply button. “Hey, dude, don’t 你 have anything better to do in your spare time? Don’t 你 have a girlfriend 或者 boyfriend to annoy? Get a life, already”
He pressed send. It seemed like only a 秒 had passed when he already received an answer.
“I know what 你 are and I’m going to tell everybody”
“Suit yourself, moron” Tyler send and he shut the computer down.
