Hi, this is an opinion about a multishipper, I dont hate damon, stefan 或者 elena , all of them has their pros and cons, this is how I see their relationship now elena as a vampire.
Stefan and Elena: We saw since this three seasons a relatioship based on respect, trust and above all LOVE, a kind of 爱情 different from others but still love, since season one stefan was supportive, caring with elena, although in season three this changed, at the end we see the real stefan, the one who respect elena choices's , he trust in her and he doesnt treat her like a doll, he knows she is a real person who can make her own decisions, she doesnt need a father, she needs a man who always support her, who know her mistakes and still help her and support her. Elena through all season three keep faith in Stefan, she always fight for Stefan and when she needed to back up, she did, she respect the choice of Stefan and even with all that happen, she never forget about him . "I 爱情 him" she 说 to Damon " despite of what I feel for you, I never forget stefan" despite Damon was her, she never forget Stefan she loves him with his faults and mistakes, that is love, she forgive him despite all.
That kind of 爱情 is real love, it doesnt matter the distance, 你 face the things together, 你 never give up, 你 always fight for what 你 love, that is stelena relationship until now.
Damon and Elena: Damon the caring and supportive friend of Elena, he is in 爱情 with Elena since season one, and although he made mistakes, he always do evertyhing for elena, the only problem, is elena doesnt feel the same, season one elena feels only friendship, season two lust and season three she develope some feelings for him because stefan wasnt here, but still she cant shake stefan of her, Damon consume her ,yes but consume her in a bad way, consume her like a flame but like a flame it is something that could be dangerous and could burn you. But still damon never is far away for elena, he doesnt let her think, he doesnt let her live his life, because Damon's 爱情 is like an obsession ( sadly for me) elena 说 to him: That is the problem.
Damon wants that elena doesnt think, he doesnt trust in her enough to let her make her own decisions, maybe that is the reason why elena cannot trust in Damon, delena relationship will be damon over elena all the time, like a doll. Elena as human cannot totally 爱情 Damon, as human she thinks, she rationalize things.
Now as a vampire, the lust will get her but not love, lust. As a Vampire 你 are dead, your feelings are not the same, sadly I will 爱情 to see Elena and Damon relationship as human but not as a vampire because everything change, although is the same elena, will be 更多 like katherine, and the desire of damon will make her fall but not for 爱情 only because the blood, the kill will bring her to another state, elena doesnt want to be a vampire neither stefan 或者 damon so now elena as vampire will change everything for her.
This is how I feel about this, I like elena, I like damon and I 爱情 Stefan ( yes I 爱情 stefan not because he is hot, I 爱情 his character just that) I know delena will happen and when they 吻乐队（Kiss） at the motel, it was an awesome 吻乐队（Kiss） who deny that but 更多 touching for me was when she tries to get back stefan, her suffering, her loging for him was overwholming. So I know as a vampire she probably will get 更多 close to Damon because he is all of fun and everything but at the end as human she always 爱情 Stefan first and I like Damon enough to make me feel sad for him because he will never get the 爱情 of the human elena, the women he loves first.
