well, i haven't read the 图书 but my friend was 阅读 it and i saw that elena 或者 w.e is described as a blonde. i think they may have done that, because now alot of vampire shows and 电影院 are competing. so they wanna stay up there.
No, maybe the actress just didn't wanna dye her hair, 或者 maybe she looked bad as a blonde. It's whatever though I like the 显示 now and I could care less whether 或者 not she's a blonde.

I like it too....I was just wondering why....in all the interviews I've seen they've never really addressed it....
Of course they made her a brunette because of Bella. Truthfully that was my only complaint about the books. Elena was supposed to be blonde, perfect and frankly a little conceited. This Elena is 更多 relatable. I like her better.
I think they may havei did go on a huge rant about it but then i thought I DO NOT CARE because, lots of 电影院 are similar right? in a way i mean the 2 main characters almost always end up together. If 你 enjoy a film a 显示 或者 a book, tiny details like hair colour do not matter. whether it is similar to Twilight 或者 not, if it's a good 显示 it is a good show, if 你 dont like it then that is your opinion

I don't know. But if they wanted Elena to be unique they should have made her blonde. Bella is just another stupid girl and I don't see what's so special about her...
But maybe with casting a brunette Elena, they are trying to show, that even though the series is based on a book, it still has a story of it's own, and that is just representing it. My theory ;)
the whole 'bella-edward' 粉丝 craze may have had something to do with their choice to make elena a brunette. but personally i think that nina dobrev makes a great elena gilbert. she is a good actress and brings a lot to the show. I also like how they traded elena's little sister for a younger brother who is closer to her age.
no actually I think that they made elena a brunette 'cuz they tought that the girl who plays elena was just perfect I think she really makes elena come to life(on TV);)
