I adore Stefan.

Okay, so he kills bunnies and squirrels from time to time. Damon used to kill humans. And you think Stefan's bad? Please don't say: at least Damon acts like what he is. Stefan just doesn't like to feed on humans. Shouldn't that mean he has humanity?

Maybe serious isn't such a bad thing. It makes his character realistic, apart from being a vampire.

Stefan killing animals on the show, is more offending to me then Damon killing people, so no. It might be my screwed up logic, but that's just how my thought process is.

And I get that. I really do. But I still don't see why some fans have to just go bashing Stefan right on. {I also understand more than half the fandom's fans love or like Damon, and only about half of the fandom's fans love or like Stefan}, but seriously, the bashing is too much sometimes.

I'm a Damon fan and Delena fan but I don't dislike him. If it wasn't for Damon (who's the best character in the show) Stefan would be 1 or 2 for me. I like him.

my opinion people hate Stefan coz of Stelena. they love Damon so they want Delena and those fans hate Stefan coz he's with Elena.
no matter what Stefan do he is wrong and boring. its sad coz people don't see how great he is.
btw i love Damon too but if i have to choose its always gonna be Stefan...

He's bland, annoying, and towards the end of the season he kind of turned into a jackass. Though that might not be a bad thing, it made him more interesting but it also proved that Damon rules and Stefan drools (literally, did you see Miss Mystic Falls? so gross)

Well, it depends on one's viewpoints. Maybe you don't find the bashing hardcore because you're not a Stefan fan. Maybe Stefan fans see the bashing - or I guess teasing from your point of view - less lightly. I do understand that people have different tastes, and there'll always most likely be an opposing ship or character to your fave character or couple, but voicing one's opinion is sometimes different from bashing. Sometimes, it's the same, sometimes not. For example: "Stefan should die" might be voicing one's opinion, but it can also be considered bashing. "Stefan needs to die" might also be voicing one's opinion, but it's only a thought and not really a fact. And it's also bashing........hmm, I'm starting to not make any sense. Well, anyway, that's what I think.

^ g3u - Actually no. Believe it or not people actually have other thoughts other then Stelena, Delena, and Bamon. Most people that I know that didn't like Stefan DID like him when he was on his human blood kick. He was actually interesting for once. So yeah..it's not about Stelena. People should get over the fact that not everything is about couples. How offending. Just like people only ship Tonnie to get Bonnie away from Damon. *rolls eyes*

And Tonnie - I ship them and it has nothing to do with Bonnie being a freaking threat to Delena! I could say the same about people who ship Bamon only shipping them because of Delena being a threat and people ship Stelena because Delena is a threat. {Which IS true because I've seen people bash Elena and then say they ship Stelena, WTH?!}

I actually love Tonnie and I want them to have more scenes together next season. Stefan, Stefan, oh all the things I could say about you, but you know what? it's just not worth it to waste all my energy into hate-filled bashing where I know it will upset people (not to say I don't poke fun at him once in a while, but that's always with my fellow D/E shippers who agree with me and won't get defensive).

I'm not sure exactly but it seems to be a similar situation to the Bamon / Delena debate. It seems like its damon and elena are everyones favorite characters and everyone else gets hated on.
I personally really like stefan , I don't find him boring at all I find him romantic and caring and adorable.

I love Stefan. He is my fav character and one of my fav vamps of all time. I also love Damon. Although, I hated him up until 1x17. Now he's my second favorite and my claws do tend to come out when either are bashed.

Im one of those who's bothered by Elena but likes Stelena. I love Stefan most. Therefore his happiness is the most important. Elena currently makes him happy, but Id be overjoyed if they brought in someone else from Stefan's past. (Not Katherin, hopefully Lexie)
