Rebekah and Elena were both sitting on the couch, as far away from the other as possible. “So, 你 and Stefan are getting married? When did that happen?” Elena asked slightly surprised.
“Stefan and I know go way back. We knew each other long before 你 were even conceived” Rebekah answered smug. “But Nik compelled him to forget, until I convinced him to break the compulsion. He was a little off, Nik, I mean. I think he’s having trouble making Caroline and Tyler break up. He told Tyler to stay away from Caroline, but it doesn’t seem to make any difference”

Before 你 call for our heads, Delena fans, hear us out. There doesn’t seem to be any stopping Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) at the moment. They’ll clearly have some time to feel each other out (metaphorically and perhaps literally), but we wouldn’t count Stefan (Paul Wesley) as totally out of this 爱情 三角形, 三角 just yet. 你 know how
The Vampire Diaries adores it 爱情 geometry, and there are plenty of reasons Stelena 粉丝 should still have hope. It might not happen for a while, but we think eventually Stefan and Elena will give it another shot.

I have 说 this for a very long time, but turning your humanity off in the TVD world is not changing into a a completely different person. It does not make 你 the same as all other 吸血鬼 with their humanity off. 吸血鬼 who flipped the switch don’t all become some generic indivudal with the same wants, words, choices, ect. The switch has a different effect on everyone because the people flipping it are different in personality, dark desires, and actions.

#1 Because they're unique - A witch and a vampire have never been done before

While certainly a shallow reason it seems to be a huge one. It's true that supernatural/folklore TV shows/books tend to do the same things over and over again, but whose to say The Vampire Diaries hasn't done something 'unique' already in regards to the two mains in their ship? Lets look it over..
