i agree with above comments, i regret to say i do not think it will be plain sailing for stefen and elena, and with stefen being in cave stuck with katherine at moment will not help situation, as she will cause stefen to become suspicious and paranoid toward damon and elena, as she 说 to stefen at end of last episode that he just made a mistake when he asked damon to protect elena, while he was stuck in there with katherine. I think deep down as well stefen still loves katherine in a way, before he kept her 照片 from 1864, there may still be a part of him that loves what he thought katherine used to be when they first met, as she clearly outlined that she came back for him and damon was just a toy in a way in which she only had fun with, but did not 爱情 like she did with stefen. either way it is obvious there is going to be many obstacles in the way of elena and stefen and i do think come later series we may even see her with damon for a change, after all the producers will want to keep audience on edge, and to have stefen and elena as being perfect strong couple throughout, will not liven things up. I hope elena and stefen stay strong together though, as i 爱情 them both being together, because their 爱情 is so unconditional and 你 can see that they mean world to one another as well. Oh and btw, might just be me, 或者 does anyone else notice how friendly tyler and caroline are becoming lately, hope they will becomea couple, nothing against matt, but tyler is just 更多 fiery and mysterious, also kinda hot, he is like a 迷失 person sometimes and family are never really interested in what he is doing, which is same as caroline's mum in a way.
