That happened when they were both young. Didn't he have any other romances?? How sad.
Later he met a gol called angela and he proposed to her but she 说 no and they broke up soon after but they stayed friends.Linda was his true 爱情 though and he always held a grudge against johny for it to his dying 日 ,he loved linda alot 更多 than angela though ,hope this helps lolz .
