Who else thinks that Ian Somerhalder would play a good Ian in the movie?

I was thinking it over, and now I really like the idea.

Well, it says "rumored" still. Many people claim to be insiders on 互联网电影数据库 and put this info up. I have seen many actors rumored to be in 电影院 and then they aren't in the end.

Ian (Somerhalder) is really hot, but he is not a Ian (O'Shea) 或者 a Kyle.

I do watch Lost. I have no doubt in his 表演 abilities. He is a good actor. I really meant that he doesn't have a sweet enough face in my opinion. He is 更多 bad boy to me. Even if he is 表演 sweet he still seems to rough.. to be Ian O'Shea.

Yeah, I read somewhere that they are working on the third script for the movie. But I was a bit worried about the money (even with good producers)

I agree. He isn't muscular enough, tall enough, 或者 sweet enough. Even if his height is over-looked and somehow his skin is made realistically lighter, he is 更多 like Kyle than Ian O'Shea.

I agree, I want him as Kyle. But it wouldn't bother me if Ian got the part.

Jasper isn't a main character like Ian is. He is important, of course, but he doesn't have this big importance in the movie, he is not a Edward 或者 a Jacob and Ian is one of these two. I agree that Taylor hasn't the high enough to play Jacob, but he worked the enough to deserve the part. He worked out and became muscular enough, but Ian Somerhalder already work out a lot, and he won't get as muscular as Ian O'Shea, cause he won't care that much about the part.

I just wanna say that there is no such person who is just like Ian O'Shea, he's someone from Stephenies imagination and it's hard to find someone who will look right and be good enough to play that role. Ian Somerhalder isn't tall enough. So what? It's only that, he has the same eyes, the same hair, even the same name. I watched him in almost all his 电影院 and shows and he can play someone who is nice person like Jack ( from 迷失 City Raiders) 或者 wicked like Damon ( TVD)

omg, I don't think that because they have the same name he should get the role, I just 说 that it is coincidence, he would be great for role even if he's named diferently, forget the name part of my answer

Ian Somerhalder should definitely play Ian O'Shea in The Host!!!!! He perfectly fits the 描述 and I know he would do a great job as O'Shea. He looks young but not too young; I think he is 30 something years old so it could work. Also Ian has that way about him that 你 just cant resist and the same goes for Ian from The Host so they are a perfect match!!!!!
