The sound of a phone ringing startled the four chipettes. “I’ll get it!” Nalani shouted and scampered over to pick up the phone. “Hello?” There was some silence on the other line, from what Makenzie, Eden and Cassidee could hear. “Yes? Mmhmmm. Tomorrow? Four thirty till six? Okay. Thanks, bye,” Nalani glanced up at the others and said, “Miss Kristy wants us to baby sit her little girl, Eva at four thirty till six.” Eden smirked, "our first customer! Success! We are doing fabulous girls!"
The girls decided to get ready for their first customer. At 4:20, they all got on their bicycles and rode off to Miss Kristy's. "Hello girls! What a pleasant surprise!" Miss Kristy exclaimed as she opened the front door. Her house was yellow with white pansy's all over the walls. "Hello to you, too," They responded as politely as they could. Oh boy... what I wonder what Eva is like... Eden thought. "Eva! Honey! Come down! The babysitters are here!"
Footsteps came thumping down the stairs, followed 由 a gasp and a scream. The girls all covered their ears. "Omg!!! GLITZ GURLZ! I AM A HUGE FAN!" Eva exclaimed, running up to them. "You're the winner of the pageant last summer! I can't believe I actually get to meet a pageant queen!" Eva cried, shaking Eden's hand furiously. "Uhh... thanks... I guess," Eden replied. Well... at least she's a fan... Eden thought. Makenzie shot her a warning look. "What she means is thank you," Makenzie added. "And you're the new girl," Eva said, looking at Nalani. "Yes," Nalani responded, awkwardly as Eva reached out her hand to shake it. Eden sneered at her. "Well, I'm glad 你 enjoyed last years pageant!" Eden smiled, suddenly thinking of the nervousness she'd felt, she then shook her head and stuck her nose in the air.
"Well I've got to get going," Miss Kristy interrupted. "You all remember the rules?" The girls nodded. "Have fun, Eva. Don't cause any trouble." She added, her voice stern. "Yes, ma'am," Eva replied. "Bye mom!" "Bye honey!" Miss Kristy finished, closing the door behind her.
