Reita: the GazettE was 1 年 old and our 鼓手 quit. Ruki was pushing us to accept Kai as the new drummer. Eventually I joined a session band live with Kai @ Uwasa 水仙 livehouse. But our first greeting was not rocking at all! I only 说 "Good Morning" to him...
Kai: Eh? 你 说 that when we met at the livehouse entrance?
Reita: Yeah yeah...
Kai: I didn't think I 说 anything. Ruki did the introductions. He was like "This is our bassist". And I went "Ah- Hey"
Reita: Noo- 你 dint say anything. If 你 did, then I didn't hear 你 lol. I was worried! We want to make this guy who look like he didnt give a damn be our band member? Haha!
Kai: And even tho Reita looked like he cared about all this... I still thought he looked like a bad person lol
Reita: We had another rehearsal before the live. And Kai 说 "Can't 你 play the 低音 while facing me?" I was like "This is baaadd" haha!
Kai: The bassist in my 前一个 band always played facing me. So it kinda became a habit of mine. I feel calm if I'm face to face with the bassist!
Reita: But we were doing rehearsals! Live shows are supposed to be spontaneous! I thought, "maan this guy is such a pain." lol
Kai: …Sorry hehe.Well I thought Reita was so full of himself. He was wearing some laid back clothes and I was like "is he really a visual kei guy?"
Reita: At that time VK peeps wear those leather, studs&stuff, right? But it was summer! I was wearing torn jeans, a singlet and an aloha 衬衫 lol
Ruki: On the opening 日 of out Stacked Rubbish tour, Kai brought his handphone on the stage with him! And he didn't even set it to silent mode!
Kai: Yeah... I left it near the 混合器, 混音器 too, close to the mic...
Ruki: But thank god it didn't ring, 或者 else during the MC 或者 whatnot, the mic would've picked up his Kobukuro ringtone lol. But it finally happend when we were promoting the album. It was on a radio 显示 and his phone rang. We all heard his Kobukuro ringtone...We had a live radio 显示 before that and Kai had his phone in his pocket the whole time, not in silent mode. What the hell man! Not funny!
--I think 你 could just laugh it off if it happend during radio shows, but if Kai's phone rang during a ballad song on stage..
Ruki: Oh man! If Kai's phone rang on stage during a ballad song then we'd see a 吉他 fly right at him lol
