At midnight the fanpoppy nominations will end and
as the last few 粉丝 make quick decisions and hunt through 潮流粉丝俱乐部 to find the best content, other 粉丝 desperately add 更多 content in hopes of being nominated. 更多 well prepared 粉丝 all over fandom are busy planning speeches, practicing disappointed faces and hunting though profiles and the fashion spot for that perfect outfit and a fanpopable date.
Whilst all this was going on i went to catch the real scoop on the fanpoppy awards just for 你 guys.

My first interest was in the awards that have recieved the most hype and questions,
the special awards; The 潮流粉丝俱乐部 Four Award for Constructive Criticism,The Dave Lu Humanitarian Award and finally the Lifetime Achievement Award. Although I did not manage to find out what exactly the panel are planning to do, to make these awards so special i did find out what the panel are looking for in the candidates for these awards.

"we're really looking for persuasive speeches from the nominators and like we've mentioned in the forums, it's really about quality over quantity. We also want the winners to be just as great after the awards.
We're looking for the Fanpopper who offers help and support to the rest of the community and contributes and 评论 to help other fans, and does so without guile 或者 an ulterior motive. It's also about standing up for other Fanpoppers and just being a nice person in general, to make 潮流粉丝俱乐部 a nicer place to be, unlike SOME websites *cough* youtobe *cough*. "

so if 你 really want the person 你 have nominated to win, 你 better work on that speech and stress why your 最喜爱的 is a quality fan
and for the lucky three that do win these special awards you'll have to keep it up, and a be a inspiration to all the 粉丝 out there!

Firstly i caught up with the official announcer of the results and panelist, dazl

do 你 like being one of the fanpoppy panel, what pros and cons does this responsibility have?

Loaded question...
Pro: People have to be nice to me, I mean...j/k! It is a big responsibility,and at the end of the day, I know there will be hate and people will be angry with the results, like the Oscars (Damn Maris Tomei and her Oscar!) and 由 the way, it is pointless to send me hatemail, because I will just send it to the recycle bin in the sky.
Con: If Bliss, Hooch, 或者 myself win anything, everyone is going to think that it was rigged.


do 你 think everything else will go smoothly on the day?

It better...*menacing glare*. I mean, do 你 know how hard it is to get Fanpoppy invites out when 你 have no idea where to hold them (Dave 说 we couldn't use his place.)?


who will be on secruity? well once 你 find a place that is...

I'm thinking my personal army of cheese makers. Security, and food...*wanders off to look for cheese*

erm.. okay. Is there any backstage gossip 你 can tell us?

Cinders won't be getting camels in her dressing room. And there may a special guest dancing in hotpants.

after my intriguingly bazaar talk with dazl i managed to catch up with one of the few users famous enough on 潮流粉丝俱乐部 to have their own spot, our own celebrity Kathiria82

as the highest contributer on fanpop, what do 你 think makes the best content, and what will 你 be looking for when voting?

I think that it`s so easy to just add anything and so many people do that and it drives me insane. I think as for 链接 they have to be informative. it`s simple to just copy everything off 谷歌 so I look for if the link matters and what I got out of it. On 视频 I am a tough critique because I post a lot of them. I like 视频 that make the 4 min. 或者 however long the vid. lasted to be worth it. I just hate when people post for the sake of posting, it makes 潮流粉丝俱乐部 boring. i am in 爱情 with 图片 and it`s what I`m known for mainly posting on Fanpop. The image has to be high resolution in my book. I like 图片 that stand out, colors, details etc. let`s just say the image has to be artistic because i feel like that`s what 摄影 stands for.
I am also a 粉丝 of people who create great spots. i have created over 100 spots on this site so that`s one of the reasons i feel so close to it.
When I vote I will be looking at the quality of what people post not the quantity.


now, 你 made a 评论 on one of the 论坛 about certain people being competitive about fanpop, what 建议 would 你 give to these people?

Would 你 consider me a real 婊子, 子 if I named names. If this interview was for 星, 星级 magazine it could get interesting. Some people on here just add to earn 奖章 it`s so pathetic. I also realized certain users will earn the red medal in like a weeks time. It kills me how sad they are because all they want is to be recognized for something they truly didn`t earn.
My 建议 to these people is "quit being so #%@#*!$ pathetic and GET A DAMN LIFE!"

If i won anything sure I`d give a speech. I would thank the 潮流粉丝俱乐部 4 of course because they are my friends. I would know nothing about the site if it weren`t for their help.

the event sounds like fun and so many people are raving about it, it`s insane.

what award would 你 most like to win yourself?

i would 爱情 to win best new fan, i have only been around for a few months and would 爱情 to know that i've done a lot in a short 太空 of time


now although 你 are a fairly new 粉丝 你 have created a reputation of being one of the most dangerous fanpoppers in fandom, will there be any nuclear weapons 或者 any plans to take eden hostage on the day?

Of course, i'll just have to hide them

as the creater of the fanpoppies, are they how you'd hoped they'd be and and are 你 pleased with amount of nominations that have come in?

i'm actually amazed at how big it is and how well it's been going, that's mainly because of blisslikethis, who organized everything and believed it was big enough to have a whole spot of it's own, so i'd like to thank her


Now as big as the fanpoppies are going to be another 潮流粉丝俱乐部 event has captured the interest of 粉丝 'the cinders and blisslikethis wedding' so i thought i'd go interview the fiancée of panel judge blisslikethis, miss Carly Cinders

cinders, the 辩论 spots which 你 have created has been nominated, so have many series of 评论 which 你 have been part of, and two of your soapboxes have been nominated. How do 你 feel about being part of so many nominations?

Well I think it's great just to be nominated, especially for my soapboxes. I was really surprised when Eden picked my 潮流粉丝俱乐部 老友记 文章 to nominate and really happy about my chimpanzee 文章 because that took me so long to write and I actually had to look at notes and things. The series of 评论 things, ah, those are just riots to participate in! The 辩论 spot is great because of everyone there who makes it great. So I'm glad that its merits are being recognized, but there's a reason spot creators don't get these awards-- it's the folks who frequent these spots that make them awesome.


Do 你 think 你 will win any awards?

I think the 辩论 spot has a good chance of winning. And I hope it does. As for the others, well, I may have good soapboxes but I know of a few others who are equally if not 更多 deserving, so I don't know. And the series of comments, well... Those are just too much fun. If they win, then great, if not, well fine. But I'll continue to partake in them regardless.


will 你 be wearing the dress that 你 have been wearing in your 图标 for the past 月 或者 something new to the big event?

As 你 so graciously pointed out that I've been wearing an evening 袍, 礼服 for the past month, I will probably wear that. And after that, I'm going shopping for tuxedos, wedding dresses and/or Rockette outfits (I'm thinking similar to Columbia in Rocky Horror) for my wedding to the wonderful and adorable and sexy blisslikethis. And after the ceremony, I expect to take her name and become Mrs. Cinders Likethis.


speaking of the wedding, have 你 made any plans yet 或者 has your fioncée, bliss been too busy with the fanpoppies?

We decided to wait until after the Fanpoppies to plan the wedding, so yes, she's very busy. But I can wait. :o)

as the panelist that we have seen most of on the 论坛 and updates, how are the panel's responsibilities shared between you, hooch and dazl?

haha, well i think this whole idea got a lot bigger than any of us expected, and hooch didn't have a lot of time 或者 energy to expend on it. so, i guess 你 could say i'm sort of the over-seer of the awards. hooch is still the final word on any major decisions (and yes, he is definitely invited to the awards ceremony lol), and dazl is in charge of 写作 most of the official soapboxes - such as listing the final nominees and announcing the winners


Exactley what are the plans for the big 日 itself?

the voting will take place the week leading up to the award ceremony, through private messages. once we've got all the votes, we'll announce the winners on the Fanpoppy Spot on the 23rd. we've still got some finessing to do for the awards ceremony, so it'll be a bit of a surprise :)


will any 名人 like the 潮流粉丝俱乐部 four be popping up for the event?

i hope so! i know dave is really stoked on the idea, so i'm sure he'll stop by.


finally we've been talking to your fioncee, cinders who say 你 are holding off the wedding until the fanpoppies are over, has this caused any grief between the two of 你 或者 does she completley support your work?

i like to think she's supportive, but she might be secretly peeved

As fanpop's most stalked and sought after guy were 你 planning on taking a 日期 to the fanpoppies 或者 are 你 going stag?

My 日期 to the fanpoppies is going to be my mom. I'm a total momma's boy, and she'll help deflect some of the stalkers with her instant "virgin son" powers. :p

I've heard you'll be throwing the crazy fanpoppy after party party is this true?

An after-party party? Sounds fun. But can we make it a week after the after-party? I'll need that much time to recover. :p

It's flattering to be considered funny, instead of funny looking.
