Queen was the greatest band of all time..period. beatles can't compare.
Freddie Mercury: Number 1 vocalist in history of rock (votenumber1) number 18 in rolling stone (would of been 1 but those assholes just post anything that sales)
Brian May: Number two guitarist and top 50.
John Deacon: Number one bassist and plays it correctly with his fingers like it was ment to be.
Roger Taylor: Number 2 drummer (votenumber1) and probably one of the best drummers and had a unique style.

EDIT ADDED FOR A QUESTION to « QueenRocks » : What are you doing here in this forum with your praise to Queen? You were asked to let us know what were your 3 favorite Beatles songs. Don’t get me wrong, I am a down to the bone fan of Queen since their very beginning. Freddie, Brian, John and Roger still rock for me!
Of course, I agree with you when you say that The Beatles and Queen can never compare. But that does not mean that one is better or worse than the other. They were different in so many ways as they had their own personal soul:
(1) ERA: Beatles = 1962-1970 – Queen with Freddie = 1972-1991;
(2) STYLE: The Beatles = pop, rock, folk and psychedelia, popularizing each style – they were great musicians and composers – Queen = rockabilly and glam essentially oriented for concerts – they were great musicians and composers as well;
(3) PERFORMANCE: The Beatles were not stage performers for long as they did not feed from touring and screaming – they were a lot more comfortable as “studio” musicians (as ironic as it could seem, even with their planetary fame, they were much of a lower profile than Queen) – Queen were kind of the best on stage (you will agree that John was not Freddie on a stage and vice versa – John was much of a loner while Freddie was alive and kicking on stage);
(4) CABLE and VIDEOS: The Beatles first tasted the video approach almost at the end of their career and on a much smaller scale, notably with Penny Lane, Strawberry Fields Forever, Revolution, All You Need Is Love – Queen took great advantage of the advent of the MuchMusic era and we thank them for that – a lot of great videos were made and spreaded worldwide;
(5) QUALITY OF THEIR WORK: to my opinion, they were and still are BOTH the GREATEST of them all, but DIFFERENT.
